Property is ok, location great, but the room had me never wanting to come back here again. So very dated and in need of repair. There was also an additional charge for kitchen cleaning which was not reflected in my 3rd party booking and had I known it would have changed where I booked since I didn’t need it. Some rooms had the extra charge and some did not and it didn’t make sense. My fault for not investigating more! Lots of better places to stay in Idyllwild.

Adequate but not terribly comfortable. The cabin is shabby and not sparkling clean. To add insult to injury is the additional cleaning fee imposed upon check in. The koi pond and common lounge are a nice touch

Nice romantic getaway
Very nice and cozy room. Super convenient location right in the village, yet off the main busy road. We could easily walk to everything. Loved the fireplace. Walls are thin but it was still quiet and peaceful. Worker who checked us in was very nice and let us check in an hour early. Only minus would be bathroom and shower is very small. I'd stay here again.

Funky rustic charm
The proprietor Raj was a delight and very friendly at check-in making us feel extremely comfortable. The cabin #3 is pretty old and funky but fair for the reasonable price we paid. The furnace works great but is only in the large living room, bedroom was a bit chilly (32 degrees outside). Adorable porch with a swing added to the charm. Easy brisk walk into town. Just expect shabby, mountain, cottage cabin and you’ll love it!

Our overall stay was comfortable. There was one issue with the third floor bath. Apparently there was a plumbing issue that was not stated prior to checking in so water was leaking down to the main floor restroom. I called the front desk and was told not to use that restroom. Somewhat of an inconvenience since we had a large group. Other than that, the rest of the cabin was good.

This was not the worse place that I ever stayed but close. The advertised posted pictures are small and blurry and it does not tell you much about how the room really looks like. These are old cabins refurbished with very minimal effort and in the cheapest possible ways. It is not worth the $200 daily rate. I found the carbon monoxide alarm in the bottom of the closet without batteries but it looked like it must have been there for a while. Some of the cabins have joint walls and the walls are very thin. Next door guest had the TV on all night and we heard them having sex in the middle of the night loud and clear. Everything provided in the room is the bare minimum and the cheapest possible items (sheets, spoons, plates, even the tea bags). The only good thing about this place was it is walking distance to town.
