The whole property was in serious need of refurbishing although the bathroom was clean with a new walk-in shower the bed linen and towels were clean the carpet was dirty breakfast was poor I only had a bowl of cereal and toast the few staff I dealt with were very pleasant it’s a shame it could be a very nice hotel the area in which it is situated is pleasant
Erica, 4-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Had the room for 3 days no member of staff ever entered the room to change towels change bed or clean had to ask at reception for toilet rolls first morning came out the room to find 3 ambulance crews in the corridor next to our room there had been an incident next to our room that first night came out the hotel 3 ambulances and 3 police cars and we then had the police sat outside of that room for the next 3 days of our stay no explanation or offer to move by staff concerning and frightening would never return to that hotel

Good size room

Nice reception area but a bit lifeless. Good size rooms. Did ask for extra pillows but the didn't arrive! Easy free parking.
Nikki, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Upon arrival the first thing that struck me was how shabby the exterior of the building looked. The doorway we headed to was indeed boarded up! It looked incredibly dated. After entering through a different doorway we were facing the reception where the hotel receptionist took some details and gave us our key. Our room was first floor. Upon entering our twin bedded room the first thing that struck me was the small size, this followed immediately by the smell of cigarettes and what i can only describe as a musty odour. The decor in the room was incredibly dated, the windows were filthy, the furniture was tatty, and the wallpaper looked damp. Not great at all. The bathroom was awful. Mould around the shower head, around the taps, around the bath etc. Looking into the toilet i was greeted with, nasty looking stains. I did my best to not touch the shower curtain at all. On a slight positive the bed linen looked ok. Only one pillow however. The tea making facilities were basic, though one of the cups were dirty. In hindsight i should of demaded another room or full refund following all of the negatives. Some friends joined us for our last day. They were given a room on the ground floor and were only staying for one night. They were greeted by a worse situation than ours! The carpet in places was actually damp, with black mould, one wall in particular was wet, wallpaper peeling. They even had mould on the bed sheets! Trully horrific, i'll never forget this hotel. Appealing and still waiting on a refund, hotel is used for immigrants. Dirty, mouldy, filth carpets, glass smears, wet bathroom floor.

2/10 Terrible

no hot water in the doubke room i booked, so was given a twin room with tiny single beds, mouldy bathroom area awful hotel
leon, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

The hotel building is in obvious need of renovation but our family room was warm and clean. The beds were comfortable. We just wanted somewhere to shower and sleep so it suited our needs and we were not disturbed by noise. We did not want corn flakes for breakfast so we went to Morrisons and had a full English for £6 .
Susan, 2-night trip

Don’t stay here

Very poor. Stains over the walls, peeling wallpaper, very tired and old. Hotel appeared to be shared with non paying guests from local services. These people were smoking at the front entrance constantly and could be heard shouting and swearing at staff

Second night in the property and I’ve found the rooms very comfortable during this heatwave. Will try to book another night
Glen, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Sardar Ji - the main manager of this property is the most welcoming host you ever could wish to meet. The rooms are spotlessly clean and nothing is too much trouble for him - he puts a lot of time and effort into running this property and for that I have ultimate respect - highly recommended

2/10 Terrible

The room was so dirty. Luckily there was fresh bedding but there was a dead moth on the wall. The bath had not been cleaned it still had hair in from the people before. The was stains all down the walls and doors. I would not stay here again. It was very disappointing
Tia, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

We opened the door and was hit with horrible smell of cigarette smoke, the room needs refurbishing its dirty and dated, the bathroom had black mould around the bath and sink,we checked straight out could not stay a night in that room
Angela, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Never again

The door to the room had obviously been damaged before preventing auto closure. Wall paper peeling off the wall. TV didn’t work properly. Disturbance at 11:30pm with shouting and bang on a door and calls to contact police. Eventually settled down but not without disturbing sleep.
