We had a great experience! Very clean room, kids received a little welcome bag, coin laundry on the 6th floor, close to all major train lines and the staff was amazing, they helped us track a package that was supposed to arrive in the morning and within a few minutes we received an answer and a few minutes later the package arrived. I would definitely recommend!

8/10 Very good

We stayed for 4 nights w/ my family. Room was spacious considering its is 1 block away from Nagoya Station. There were plenty of restaurants & shops to choose from. How central location makes big difference. Easy access to JR, bus station & 7 min walk to Shinkansen. Rooms are clean. Like the fact that guest can keep track of how much time left in laundry on TV- very handy. We only used housekeeping service once but that when issue occurred. In our past hotel stay at other Daiwa hotel, housekeeping never touched guest's belongings/bedsheets; however, Daiwa Nagoya housekeeping threw away my shampoo packet that was sitting beside sink and my pillowcase that I bought from home. Concierge staff was very apologetic. They went to buy my shampoo back. As for my pillowcase, it was found several days latee but I have returned to my country. They have offered refund but I declined and opted them to mail it back. Service is phenomenal and we will stay here again. And will stay at future Daiwa Roynet branches.

6/10 Good

The common areas look nice, but the room was outdated. The bathroom floor was mouldy and the bed was uncomfortable and squeeky. Breakfast was nice though.

A bit Dirty

Our room was a bit dirty when we arrived for check in. The hangers were dusty, head board dusty too. Pillows a bit dusty as well but I did mention to the front desk. Housekeeping kept it clean afterwards.

10/10 Exceptional

A very pleasant stay at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nagoya Station. We went to Nagoya as our base place for the F1 weekend. The standard room was of decent size - I could open 1 big luggage and 1 small luggage with the floor space, and that says a lot with hotel sizes in Japan 😁 A simple breakfast was included during our stay - I enjoyed the different types of miso paste for soup. A convenient 5-7 minute walk to the Nagoya station and aplenty of food options. Our room was facing the main road, but we didn't hear the noise outside (apart from rare occasions a loud car passing/roaring by - probably a Porsche by the soundof it). We didn't have much interaction with the reception as we were provided or can get everything we needed in the room or at the reception for the coffee and toiletries. The hotel, while it looked a bit dated, is very clean and I will still give it a solid 5 star rating and will stay here again if we go to Nagoya in the near future.

For the money, the rooms really small and the buffet is very mediocre. It’s better to eat out somewhere.
