Have I somehow missed the statement in the description that you will be living in the same flat as millions of other people? I don't think so. This flat is unlike any I have ever seen; there are a lot of hallways and rooms, but there are only three bathrooms. The flat was filthy. The bathrooms were disgusting. In addition, the shower drains were completely blocked. In addition, none of the bathrooms had windows or ventilation. So the entire flat, including the lift, smells like a toilet! I am not exaggerating when I say that the shower floor was ankle-deep in water in just 15 seconds. I was unable to properly wash my body, much less my long hair! There was also nothing practical: no kitchen towels, no toilet paper, no teas... Along with the charming photos they posted, the washing machine option was another reason I picked this location. I never had a chance to use it because it was always on. However, after seeing the place, I seriously doubt that I would have used it even if it had been available. Ultimately, I was forced to dispose of my clothes and socks in the trash just before I left. I am really repulsed.

Location is excellent very central but it is more like an apartment with rooms and shared bathrooms. Cleaners come everyday to clean bathrooms but still not very clean. Your stay has to be over 7 days to get your room cleaned or they won’t touch it

Simple, Plain & Well Located Accommodation
Great location on Gran Via (major downtown shopping street). Close to metro, buses. Restaurants all around. Community kitchen is hostel clean, well organized and well used. Free washing machines, a plus. Negatives are cold water only one morning…need paint job in common areas. Strict no early check in rule is a bummer and no safe place to drop off luggage for early arrival. Bathrooms could be cleaner (mildew), and always running out of toilet paper. Other than kitchen no gathering areas to meet other guests. Just a come-and-go place. Once you’re checked in no towel exchange or room cleaning. But clean, simple private bedroom with lamp, shelving, desk & chair & hangers. Very thin walls from room to room.

Todo estuvo en general bien, sobre todo la ubicación que me parece perfecta. Solo hay tomar en cuenta que si te toca un cuarto por la cocina, que es compartida, la gente alli hace bastante ruido, no respetan mucho las horas. Si eres de sueño ligero eso te puede molestar. Por lo demás bien!

No AC, need to put a 10 euro deposit for a fan remote, so I'm going to sleep in heat, in the middle of every noise you can imagine, shared bath and shower not the greatest experience I've had, went to Santo Domingo hotel better accommodation. I'm good on this place. Do your research hard before choosing, lesson learned.

STAY AWAY
Rating would be a lot higher if there hadn’t been ear-shattering construction taking place from 8AM-5PM every weekday. The drilling and hammering was so disruptive that they were practically begging the guests to check out early and choose to stay somewhere else. Also, the smell of the construction flooded the halls and was very hard to breathe in. I can’t believe this is an actual business.

It was one of the worthless places under booking your site. Sharing toilet with all gender was very much risky taking virus contagious and unsafe conditions. My fist checked room was broken door and could hear next door sick man’s coughs all the time, after his toilet usages make me scared to use. Kitchen was mass and dirty sink area lack of taking care of cleaning and at least inform us the conditions to stay feel clean and safe. Of course the room was need to be cleaned before check in but it wasn’t. The important issue was, GAS was leaking from open ceiling panel or from the bottom of next room open space, after one nite stayed I got chocking and bad chest pain and congested and got vey sick since then. Causing that unhealthy condition and poor care of accommodation to run as hotel it could be sued in USA. Also I felt very unsafe and unsecured to stay whole time. So I had to leave the Gran vía on March 6 mourning earlier than my original reservation till 9th, to sacrifice my original plan to visit Madrid Artfair 6-8 to avoid further worsen my health condition. Therefore, I Need My Money Back!!! Very unpleasant and dangerous feeling I had experienced to stay in Live it gran via, especially gas leaking from the smell open the ceiling panel and open floor space from next to bed.(rm806) Of course complained to change room, but building construction noise right above my room 306 next kitchen whole day was terrible gettingrest from the sickness by poor granvia’s condition e
