Awesome Retreat...
This cottage was immaculate throughout and the setting was amazing. Located 5km off the tarmac roads the sense of isolation was unique. Views from all windows provided the entertainment and it was nice not to have a TV!!

We stayed in Cottage 1. It is brand new with very nice decor, a kitchen and large bathroom. The sofa converts to a bed, which gave our teenager her own space. The setting is remote and peaceful, and close to many waterfalls.

Property felt new and modern. Furnished tastefully and well designed. It felt like a high end experience and the facilities were excellently maintained, or potentially brand new. It was honestly hard to tell since it was overall just a really nice stay.
My wife's theory is that they are called the Puffin Houses because they are painted to look like abstract puffins with the orange beak and black body.

This cottage is amazing and a big recommendation for anyone wanting to spend the night away from the lights of the towns. You park right next to the cottage and you look out over a large field. There is no noise as the cottages are located on a quiet road.
When entering the cottage everything is modern and clean. The shower is great and the beds are very comfy. When sitting on the couch you have a great view of the area and you have everything you need for a pleasant stay.
During our 10-day trip around Iceland we only spent one night here but we could easily spend multiple nights in this wonderful cottage. 10 out of 10.

Kendi kendine giriş çok kolaydı. Kulübenin konumu oldukça sakin bir bölgede yer alıyor. Yerden tavana camları sayesinde manzarayı izlemek çok keyifli. Kulübede mutfak ve yemek hazırlamak için gerekli tüm malzemeler mevcut. Tesis oldukça temizdi, havlular, çarşaflar ve yatak hem temiz hem de rahattı. İzolasyon çok iyiydi yerden ısıtma Aralık ayında konaklamamıza rağmen hiç üşümedik.
Evin çevresinde market vb. herhangi bir imkân yok, en yakın market araçla yaklaşık 15–20 dakika mesafede. Genel olarak konaklamadan memnun kaldık. Amacınız şehrin gürültüsünden uzaklaşmaksa burası kesinlikle size göre.

il paradiso esiste. non fatevi scoraggiare da circa 7 km di sterrato (fattibile con auto normali) perchè alla fine avrete a disposizione una sistemazione immersa nella natura perfettamente attrezzata.
