Greatly enjoyed this little gem. Very clean and very friendly staff! We extended stay by a day with no problem and limited parking but available indoor and outdoor. Will be back !

Modern, stylish building within walking distance of Sofia’s city centre, shops, and restaurants. Our room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully restocked with water and coffee each day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom had a luxurious feel. Breakfast was delicious, with excellent coffee, and the staff were professional, welcoming, and attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sofia.
Bonus points for its convenient location - just a five-minute walk from the subway with a direct line to the airport.

Overall it was a nice hotel. The room was fine, spacious and clean. It was close enough to walk to the centre of Sofia, about a 40 minute walk, and there were sone reasonable places to eat nearby. I did have to go and buy black teabags and milk for my room, as they generally only supply coffee or herbal tea, neither of which I drink. There was a fridge in the room. The only disappointment was that I got up to have breakfast early on Saturday, as I had a tour planned, only to be told breakfast was not served until 08.30, so I had to go without. Weedays it is served between 07.00 and 09.30.

We received correct, polite service. The entire hotel was clean and modern, the room was spacious and well equipped and of course spotlessly clean.
I would most likely choose Aurora on a repeat visit to Sofia.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. The location was a short twenty minute walk to many tourist attractions. The staff were extremely helpful and willing to help with all of my needs be it recommendations of local restaurants or shopping needs (food, liquor or pharmacies). Unfortunately their bar was not available due to not receiving their liquor license yet but I’m sure that will be rectified soon. I would definitely stay there again and am looking forward to my next visit.

Excellent choice
A little difficult to find but well worth it. Never been in a car in a lift before but that’s how you access the underground car park. Wow. The hotel was renovated very nicely and it was very quiet with lovely staff.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Aurora Sofia. While it is in Central Sofia, you are looking at a 20-30 min walk minimum to places like Vitosha Blvd, museums and so on. I love walking, so that’s not an issue for me. The hotel is a 5-8 min walk from Opalcheska station, so don’t even bother taking a taxi from the airport.
If you’ve never been to Eastern Europe before and aren’t used to EE hospitality, please don’t think anyone is being cold to you - it’s really not the case. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful when I had questions.
My room was always very, very clean and the complimentary water and coffee packets were nice for my mornings.
For female solo travellers - I can’t recommend this hotel more. Sofia is an extremely safe city, and I had no problems walking back on the hotel on my own in the middle of the night.
I will absolutely stay here again when I’m next in Sofia.

The Aurora Sofia hotel is on a side road, however right between two main roads, makes it a little quieter.
Also, just 2 blocks walking distance from Opelchenska Metro train station, and the Sofia Mall is just the other way, walk thru the alley and turn left... So you are quick metro ride to downtown Sofia, just 2 stops to Serdica - and the walk the other way is just 2 blocks to Sofia Mall with FiBank and Costa Coffee there...
I was DELIGHTFULLY SUPRISED at how great the facility and close by Metro and Sofia Mall make this hotel a GREAT CHOICE!
It is very new, clean, quiet, great staff who speak English at the front desk and Manager Peyo is outstanding guy...
Definitely they work hard and earned their 5 stars review...
I would stay again, the free hotel Wifi worked fine, about 50mbps, plenty to work remotely and easy to access, I turned on my PC and both mobile phones to wifi and worked great.
Already 5 stars, what would make 6 stars is when they get their bar license and sell some Rakia :-)
