The location is good; there were no unpleasant smell or bugs inside, and the apartment looks like the photos but…
It’s faced the service entrance of a beachfront hotel and was very noisy; about 10-15 industrial hotel AC compressors were running constantly just a few meters away, along with nonstop laundry, food, and garbage trucks coming and going. On top of that, on the last day, a group of 5-6 single very loud men moved into the next unit; since we were leaving that day, didn’t report to management. The room was missing basic kitchen items; even though it’s booked for three people, there were only plates and glasses for two when we arrived. We requested an essential kitchen item, and the owner said they would provide, but they didn’t follow through. Providing umbrella and beach chairs were nice touch; however, chairs need to be updated because the backs hardly stay upright.
Also, about four hours before arrival, while I was on a flight, they called me to say we needed to pay the cleaning fee before entering the unit. I thought it was something urgent, which caused unnecessary stress before we even arrived. These things should be communicated a few days in advance or at check-in.
