While the hotel was clean and very nice, our room did not have hot water during our three night stay. The staff ensured us they had shared the issue with management, although no one resolved the problem. We were told two rooms lacked hot water and one was ours. I’m rating the hotel a four as it was a great location for day trips to the islands and other than the lack of hot water quite lovely. Complimentary breakfast was just okay. Parking in front of the hotel was convenient and available during our stay.

Beautiful and peaceful. Really nice property - walking distance to the beach and quick drive to Palau. Amazing views of the water and "Bear Rock". Breakfast was good too, lots of options to choose from - cereal, yogurt, meat & cheese, eggs, etc. Only complaint is that there was an unpleasant odor in the room - almost a sewer like smell, it did not come from the bathroom - so not sure where it came from, otherwise everything was perfect!

We recently stayed at Borgo dell’Orso in Palau for 2 nights and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel is located about 7 minutes by car from the town center. While it’s not far, I wouldn’t recommend walking, as the road is quite hilly and not ideal for pedestrians. The check-in process was smooth, but I suggest completing the online check-in in advance when they send the email—it really speeds things up. It’s also a good idea to call the hotel if you plan to arrive late in the evening. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay more enjoyable. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained, with daily cleaning and fresh towels. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the mattress was very comfortable. Another great feature is the free on-site parking, which is very convenient if you’re exploring the area by car. There were a few minor downsides: there was a slight smell of paint upon entering the room, the breakfast was very basic and not really worth it, and the water pressure in the shower was a bit inconsistent. That said, this is understandable considering the hotel’s mountain setting—it likely takes powerful pumps to keep the water flowing steadily. Despite these small issues, we would still recommend this hotel for a short stay, especially if you’re visiting with a car.

Das Frühstück war ok, aber nicht gut. Kaffee konnte man sich selbst über 2 Kaffeeautomaten zubereiten, geschmacklich ok, aber nicht richtig gut. Marmelade und Co aus einem Spender, Hebel zum Abfüllen musste man recht fest drücken, damit man Marmelade und Co raus bekam, Obst vorhanden, eher mittlere Qualität. Frühstücksraum im Untergeschoss, recht kühl durch Klimaanlage, außerdem roch es teilweise komisch, ggfs von der Klimaanlage. Sehr steril und unpersönlich. Blick beim Frühstück auf Putzmittel und offene Vorratsräume. Nicht gemütlich. Zimmer eher sauber und recht modern, allerdings alles etwas wacklig und instabil zusammengebaut, Schrank, Toilettendeckel…Klimaanlage zu kalt. Betten waren bequem und gut. Zimmergröße gut. Personal freundlich. Optik der Zimmer und des ganzen Hotels alles in Allem modern und recht neu , aber alles weiß, eher steril ohne Flair. Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Eigentlich ein schön gelegenes modernes Hotel ( teilweise wird noch gebaut in der Nachbarschaft) mit einem schönen Ausblick, aber ohne Flair und nicht mit Herz geführt..Sehr unpersönlich und Frühstück und Aufbau des Frühstücks könnten deutlich verbessert werden nach unserem Empfinden. Aus dem Hotel könnte man mehr machen.

O hotel fica num lugar incrível, muito próximo a Pedra do Urso. Fica bem no alto e é um super visual! Porem são cerca de 4km ao centro ou ao porto, o que faz com que seja necessário estar de carro. O hotel é novinho e as instalações também. Sentimos falta de um.cofre no quarto.

Grande chambre. Le frigidaire faisait tellement de bruit qu'on a l'éteindre pour la.nuit.Les rideaux ne sont absolument pas occultant. Difficulté à ouvrir la porte de la salle de bain qui grince. Le harcèlement pendant 3 jours pour me demander mon heure d'arrivée. Si je choisis un hôte c'est pour l'autonomie d'arrivée durant les horaires d'ouverture de la réception. En vacances ont planifié pas sa journée à l'heure.
