Aug 10, 2026If you are looking for a budget stay and are willing to make some compromises for that, this will work. The current owners/staff certainly do a good job at keeping easily cleanable things clean (linens, towels, bathroom), and invested in some quite nice light-blocking curtains - but the carpet is quite stained and old. Breakfast was a little bit of a joke - the coffee was still brewing, there was no water (cold or hot) available, front desk wasn't staffed so asking for some wasn't an option either...

Jun 7, 2026Rather old and tired property. Small, clean room. Room door lock tricky to operate with old-style key. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Old fashioned aircon unit. Basic breakfast. OK for 1 night but wouldn't particularly recommend - needs modernisation.

The room was clean and when we had an issue in our first room which we didn’t think was a big enough deal to move, they insisted which was nice because I didn’t want them to feel like I was complaining but just wanted to make them aware of the situation and the HAPPILY put us in another room to make things right! They were great and for being in such a small town I didn’t expect too much out of the breakfast but they provided enough to get some sustenance in you before hitting the road! 10/10 stay

Jun 29, 2026The toilet was dirty with dried urine around the floor mount. There was no tissue, just toilet paper. The air conditioner was very loud. No counter space in the bathroom to even put a toothbrush. The continental breakfast advertised had coffee but no juice. A couple of packaged donuts, some other packaged pastries, cold cereal. When we went to the breakfast area it was almost bare and no staff available to replenish anything. One gentleman was trying to make a waffle but had difficulty getting the waffle to cook. It was evident there was not much concern about customer service.
The bed was very comfortable and we did have clean linens.

We had a double queen room and it was so comfortable we slept thru the night and almost missed their Continental breakfast. My hubby woke feeling stuffy, the host left me in the lobby and immediately went for tea! How beautiful is that! Yes, we will be coming back with smiles. Evelyn James
