Great find in Ashburton
This little motel has a delightful manager who is very accommodating and helpful. The room is extremely spacious and very well equipped & convenient to town.

Nice and quiet. Manager/owner took me to my room and explained everything. Checked with me in the morning if I had been satisfied with my nights stay. Would definitely stay again

The checkin was quick. Our room was very spacious. The property itself is rather "tired" but the beds were comfortable.
There are train tracks across the street but while some trains did pass they weren't a huge annoyance.

I stayed in a cheap deal room, there was no view to outside other than a tiny fenced courtyard. A little more attention could be paid to cleanliness. Very friendly host

Overall the property was excellent' clean and tidy. tv was a bit different to operate. the only thing wrong was the transfer of loud talking from the adjoining unit at 6am which woke us both up.

Handy to shopping area .I think the towets were mearnt to be white but were gray and as were face flannels and the bed cover was quite worn .Otherwise the room smelt fab.
