I love the sitting area outside as well makes it’s feel like it’s your own front yard. And the cafe was just a few feet away it was perfect!

They were very accommodating with early check in/out due to weather. The room was clean, super cute and within 5 minutes of our event. We were traveling with our dog, and the room came with pet bowls. I wish we would have been able to enjoy the court yard. I would highly recommend this place and will stay again.

Jul 29, 2025Bed and pillows were plenty comfy. There's a dehumidifier in the room which helps keep the room temperature comfy in the summer. We'd get coffee in the mornings and sit on the 'front porch' and enjoy the peaceful courtyard. Super cute spot and felt right at home!

Jan 27, 2025This place is a gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay completely. Very well decorated and clias a whistle. And very well equipped. The keyless entry in and no front desk check in was very convenient. The piped in music was a nice touch. My one and only setback was the shower was extremely slippery. We went and picked up a bath mat and solved the problem. We'll visit again for sure.

Mar 20, 2025Talbot Commons is a very charming enclave located in a quiet area within walking distance of Taylor’s shopping district. Each of the rooms are decorated with a trendy western theme. All the rooms are on ground level arranged around a common area, so it could be ideal for a wedding, group, or small family reunion. For me it was an ideal stopover on a trip across Texas. There is no staff on site, so that should be taken into consideration. I didn’t know how to rate “staff and service” because the hotel is not set up that way. I had absolutely no complaints: my room had everything I needed. A nice, trendy cafe is adjacent to the hotel.

Jun 29, 2026Overall, the area was perfect. The shops I wanted to see were so close that we walked. The small community parks were so close that I really enjoyed the walking trails. The hotel was so cute and cozy. The AC worked beautifully, and I melted into the bed and slept so well. This is one place I would come back to stay. Most of all, the coffee place right next door was great.
The fridge was a good size, and the coffee maker worked well. (Thank you for having decaf coffee on hand).
