There is a nice fragrance as you enter, this is an upmarket hostel. Staff are first class. The room was spotlessly clean, staff regularly empty bins and the privacy screen is perfect. I was booked in a female dorm room for 4. The secure drawer is operated through your own keycard so no padlock needed and extra storage space is optional. The air con can be adjusted to suit yourself and everything in the room worked as it should. There’s a cafe adjoining which do amazing cooked breakfast options and the options got me more than I could eat. There’s a pool and rooftop bar if you want to socialise. My flight was later in the evening and I obtained a locker to store my case which was very useful. I would recommend this hostel plus it’s a great location for the evening.

Amazing Staff, the environment was so friendly. Met a lot of cool people relaxing on the rooftop lounging area. Even though i was in an 8 person dorm it felt so incredibly private and i had not a single problem sleeping during my entire stay.

Great location, everything you need is nearby. Everything was reasonable clean and the cleaners came a couple of times a day. The pods are good, although you can hear other people coming and going or using the toilets, doors banging so I recommend ear plugs. The welcome drink was a nice touch and a great ice breaker for meeting other travellers. Sadly, I didn't get to use the pool due to being unlucky with the weather in March.

Simple, Safe, and So Worth It

I had an amazing stay at COEO! The place was super clean, the staff was friendly, and I loved the setup of the pods—perfect for solo travelers like me. I stayed in a single pod and still had my privacy. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Málaga, and it was very affordable. I met a few great people and had some lovely conversations on my last day. I would absolutely recommend this hostel and will definitely stay here again when I return!

The hotel was exactly as described, perfect for a few-nights stay. very clean comfy bed and quiet. you can occasionally here others in other pods, but everyone was very conscious of each other. Would definitely recommend. The location was ideal, walking distance to everything and the coffee shop down stairs is very nice. the only comment for improvement is the pillows. They are one long large pillow between 2 people, it was a little challenging.

We had the private room for 4 people, it was great although had no storage or hooks and was also tiny for 3 people. Cleanliness was good other than a pile of old hair in the shower. Also be warned that the bunk beds are hard to get into as the steps are very steep. Location is perfect, so close to everything but the hostel was still super quiet at night so this didn’t affect sleep. Overall a modern, attractive place to stay and great value for money

Amazing hostel in the historic arena

The hostel was amazing. I stayed in the lower pod and it didn't feel claustrophobic. The shared bathroom facilities were clean throughout a day. The shower gel smelled great. The roof terrace and the swimming pool are small but enough to enjoy the sunshine. The kitchen has a fridge, kettle and a microwave to prepare simple meals. The reception area is very nice with comfortable armchairs. The restaurant is connected with the hostel. I only had there matcha latte and it was excellent.

Right in the centre so perfect location to get back from nightlife but it’s a bit of a walk to the beach (15-20mins) The pod room and shared bathroom was very clean considering the amount of people who share it . Room bed was very comfy and room stayed cool . the price for 4 nights was well worth it. £200 cheaper than a normal apartment . Cons - The pool looked dirty and not big enough for the amount of people . No mention of changing towels or bed sheets. No food or drink allowed in the rooms
