What a wonderful hostel!
Its far enough from the nightlife but close enough, and an easy walk to the beach. The building has a funky modern appeal, a lap pool, sitting areas, hammocks, large coworking area and a lovely bar playing soulful music. The mixed dorm room was great, visitors were quiet and respectful. Each bed has wood panels on 3 sides and a curtain for privacy, with a shelf, plug ins and light. Also get a storage locker for your things. Staff are friendly, especially Vladamir at front desk. I highly recommend Casa Toro La Punta!

The rooms are really nice and were cleaned everyday. They gave us really good recommendations for food and going out at night! Which we appreciated since it was my first time there. 10/10 on recs! They were friendly at reception and anything we needed they helped. I would stay again I loved the vibes and aesthetics of the place! Gracias!!

Casa Toro La Punta was an amazing place to stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. I want to give a special thank you to Michelle for making our check-in super smooth and for sharing so many great recommendations for things to do around La Punta. She was so warm and welcoming, and her energy really set the tone for the rest of our trip.
I also have to mention Gonzalo, the bartender. His drinks were incredible, but what really stood out was how easy and fun it was to talk with him. He made us feel like we were exactly where we were supposed to be. You can tell he and the rest of the team genuinely care about the guests.
Everyone at Casa Toro has such a good vibe. I highly recommend this hotel, easily a 10 out of 10. I’ll definitely be coming back!

PROS:
El hostal está muy bien pensado. Las instalaciones se ven nuevas, con una estética bonita y un ambiente tranquilo. Las habitaciones son amplias, las camas cómodas y los lockers funcionales. Como el sol no da directamente sobre la alberca, el agua es fría, pero se disfruta y es fácil aclimatarse por el calor que hace. El desayuno continental es suficiente para empezar el día y utilizan buenos ingredientes.
CONS:
La atención dejó mucho que desear. No sé si fue solo mi percepción, pero noté un trato preferencial hacia el turismo extranjero o hacia quienes llegaban en grupo. Llegué antes del horario de check-in y pude “resguardar” mi equipaje; lo pongo entre comillas porque simplemente se deja en el pasillo. Me ofrecieron una bebida de cortesía, lo cual estuvo bien, y me dijeron que me avisarían cuando mi habitación estuviera lista, pero nunca lo hicieron.
Más tarde me acerqué nuevamente a recepción y me informaron que ya podía pasar. Me acompañaron a la habitación, pero no me explicaron nada más: no me dijeron el horario ni qué incluía el desayuno, qué servicios ofrecía el hostal ni cómo llegar a la playa, entre otros detalles. Asumieron que yo ya debía saberlo todo. Fue ahí donde noté aún más la diferencia, ya que a otros huéspedes que llegaron mientras yo estuve esperando sí les explicaron todo y recibieron un trato distinto.

Excelente opción en Punta Zicatela
El hotel está ubicado a unas cuadras de restaurantes y playa por lo que todo está a pie, la alberca muy limpia y de buen tamaño, todo es nuevo así que se disfruta bastante, el staff es increíblemente amable, te hacen recomendaciones de actividades y lugares. Sin duda te hacen sentir como en casa.
