We stayed at this property for a girls trip. It was exactly what we were going for. Quiet, peaceful & adorable. Went to Dubuque for a day and Galena the next. Our mornings were on the porch enjoying our coffee listening to the cows welcome the morning followed by the birds. The deer had a parade in the mornings as well along the bubbling creek. And watching the neighbors horses in the pasture was magnificent. Evenings were dark-dark, which allowed us to admire the night sky filled with stars. Our Bible study hit different surrounded by God's creation. It was a great stay and we hope to come back.

This is an absolutely amazing property. The pictures were perfect. The location was perfect. The host, perfect. If youre looking for an adorable cabin right outside an adorable old world town, this is the spot. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you really need. Head into town and get your groceries and firewood at the charming small town grocery store. I will definitely be going back here in the future+
