Stunningly refurbished palace with great staff. Spotlessly clean and luxurious. Lovely bar. Let down by the food. Pretty average breakfast. Has to buy some of our own staff because they do not cater for veggie / vegans very well. Zero vegan options in the hotel for lunch or dinner but lots available locally. Brilliant location and Caceres is beautiful. Would go back.

This is a five-star property, with the type of service that goes with that. The rooms are lavishly appointed, and the location is in the heart of old Caceres, so you're within an easy walk of what the city has to offer. If you're driving, parking is actually under another hotel a few confusing streets away, so have your phone maps app out and ready.

Just beautiful

This hotel is new and we had a great room, all clean and with great taste. Reception staff was beyond nice and helped with everything. Spa area also very comfy for it s size. We really had a great stay here, it s superb that they have resonably priced caviar in their mini bar. The only place to stay is this one.

In this super new hotel, they preserved the essence of the old palace and combined it with a state of the art lodging, amenities and style. High quality and solid materials are used. We felt that the cocktail bar in the garden offers modern, very good drinks reasonably priced. We stayed two nights but would have liked to stayed longer. The king sized bed is comfy as it gets. 10/10 over all.

Rather than a misunderstanding that the receptionists did not explain us well about the limit of the 6 persons using the SPA (We understood that one should reserve only by rooms for 45 minutes), everything else was excellent, the decoration, the cleanness of the room and especially the breakfast which worths to pay for it. At their bar/restaurant our only complaint was that we ordered Risotto with Salmon but the risotto was just 5 or 6 spoons. The portion was very small so we decided to dine out and not anymore at the hotel. Their ceviche was excellent. The staff very very cordial and helpful too. We will stay there again and recommend it.

Palacio Godoy ha sido una muy grata sorpresa. Es una propiedad remodelada con muchísimo criterio, donde han conseguido combinar el carácter del edificio con instalaciones modernas y de gran nivel. Desde que entras, el ambiente invita a bajar el ritmo, descansar y disfrutar del lugar. Todo transmite tranquilidad y está muy bien cuidado, desde los espacios comunes hasta cada detalle de la habitación. Algo que también me sorprendió especialmente fue la presencia de obras de arte en prácticamente todos los espacios de la propiedad. No están simplemente como decoración: aportan personalidad y hacen que recorrer el hotel sea parte de la experiencia. El personal merece una mención especial: atento, cercano y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, pero sin resultar invasivo. Las instalaciones son extraordinarias y la habitación fue realmente cómoda. La cama y las almohadas son de esas que literalmente te abrazan y hacen difícil levantarse por la mañana. Y el rooftop merece definitivamente una visita. Es uno de esos espacios que terminan de completar la experiencia del hotel y donde vale la pena quedarse un rato disfrutando del ambiente. He tenido la oportunidad de alojarme en muchos hoteles y Palacio Godoy es uno de esos lugares que se recuerdan, no solo por sus instalaciones, sino por la sensación de bienestar que consigue transmitir. Sin duda, volvería.
