Aug 22, 2026Enjoyed our one night stay in the Ballinluig inn. Our room in the annex was very comfortable and clean - bathroom sink was small but made the use of the smaller space. The carpet on the stairs in the annex up to the room could use a clean. I thought that £230 was too high and double what we paid the previous year for a non-annex room but perhaps there was an event on in the area. Food was excellent.

Ellie who checked us in and served our dinner is personable and efficient. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Sunday lamb roast had generous portions and a great variety of vegetable complements.

Aug 27, 2025The breakfast was 10/10 and the room was nice and quiet, facing away from the main road. Comfortable bed and very good water pressure in the shower. There's a small trail around the back of the BnB that runs up the hill where you get a beautiful view over the valley.

Oct 11, 2025This wonderful pub is a gem. We stayed for two nights and found the staff, especially Daniel, to be friendly and efficient. Our rooms were very comfortable and nicely fitted out. The meals are fantastic! Their chef is very talented and serves food that would not be out of place in any high end restaurant. On Friday night we loved the gathering of musicians who played together and added a lovely atmosphere to the (full) restaurant. Parking was conveniently at the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this Inn to other travellers.

Jun 25, 2025In theory, it was a nice place to stay, with a very friendly welcome and a great breakfast. The cleanliness was also perfectly acceptable. Unfortunately, the rooms were kind of noisy, and the bathroom fixtures were either odd or not particularly functional. What surprised me most was the price. Even though it included the (as mentioned) great breakfast, €190 is really too much for this standard. It's a shame that we live in a time where mediocre things are getting more and more expensive.

Jul 14, 2026Room was okay, for the price of the room I would have expected it to be a lot better, seemed half of the room was refurbished and the other half missed, including the bathroom. We paid £150 bed and breakfast and then went to another one that was £135 and it was miles better. Staff were really helpful and nice, however breakfast was not good, we left a lot, the quality unfortunately was not great.

Il faudrait un bon rafraîchissement de qualité et pas seulement remettre de la peinture la où il y a un défaut. Le personnel était très accueillant ce qui était très agréable.
