Just 10 minutes walk to the shopping street. The room was ok for 1-2 nights. It was hard to find that it was no sign of the hotel at street level as it was hidden inside a building with elevator. Had to call them to come and find me at the street.

Basic, but neat and comfortable hotel just off Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Alice and Yosh at reception were absolutely brilliant and looked after me day and night. The coffee machine in the lobby is a nice touch. A great budget option close to all the major attractions in wonderful Shanghai.

Very comfortable place to stay. Near the attractions, restaurant, street food, shops. There's a coffee machine, ice cubes at the lobby. 2 big washing machine and a dryer. 2 complimentary bottled water daily, and daily room cleaning. Comfy bed and good AC. Very quiet location. The hotel lobby is located at the 3rd floor. Staff are very hospitable and very helpful. Wifi is really good, but I rarely use it because I have a great data plan with China mobile that can access the internet outside of Mainland. Lots of good local shops outside the hotel. There's a really good pancake shop nearby. Don't miss it.

The main thing is that the image they are using to promote this hotel - the front of the hotel - is actually of another high class hotel. The front entrance of this hotel is actually very very poor. So this is very deceptive and Wotif should remove this listing. It's a classic bait and switch. The room itself was okay. Nice bed and nice sheets and decent bathroom. The staff were nice. But the building itself is very very poor. I can understand why they are using another image.

Excellent for the price. 7 minute walk to to the famous shopping street Nanjing Road and nearest metro station. Only 1 metro stop to the equally famous Yu Yuan Garden historical quarter, with many restaurants and shopping. Our room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was impeccable. Very good and kind service, the staff is eager to help in case of a problem.If necessary, they guard your luggage for a few hours after checking out. There is a night shop with cold drinks, snacks, foods and even umbrellas just around the corner. Downside: there was no fridge in the room.
