Road noise made it impossible (for us) to sleep without earplugs. Very clean and had all the normal practical things you need, but we were there to get sleep/rest and that was problematic. A more modern motel would have effective soundproofing…Unfortunately that would mean huge costs for the owner of this one. Heavier sleepers no doubt won’t have an issue.
