"The room is a dormitory room. The bed had no box spring, just a thin mattress on a platform. The bidet is in the shower. The walls and ceiling are covered with burlap. The staff was rude and unhelpful. You can hear the movie theatre next door in your room. We left early even thought the room was fully paid and non-refundable."

"Savhotel Amelia Bologna was an excellent experience. We reserved a junior suite, and it certainly was the right choice. Our room was very spacious with plenty of places to put our luggage. The restroom was also very spacious and clean. The hotel is well laid out and the amenities are top notch. We took advantage of the evening bar, as well as the gym. Both were very nice. The hotel is conveniently located, and we were able to walk to local bars and restaurants. Above all, the best part of this hotel is their service! Annapaola greeted us upon arrival. We had a long day prior, and her delightful demeanor made our evening much more pleasant. We asked for a recommendation for dinner to which we could walk, and she quickly shared one of her own favorites. This was a restaurant that we never would have found ourselves, but was possibly one of the best meals we have ever had. In the morning, she again greeted us as we checked out, and volunteered to hold our luggage and call a taxi after we returned from breakfast, which she did a couple hours later. Service like Annapaola provided is not common, but makes one’s travel experience a 10+! We will not hesitate to return to the Savhotel Amelia Bologna!"

"I loved the experience and the kids too. There was snow everywhere, I didn't expect it and being from Florida its a wow experience. The staff was nice and able to accommodate us very fast. I like that the place is old school, not too much digitalization and very well located for onenight experience. They have an elevator, very convinient as well. There is a small.market nearby for a quick grab and go. I felt the humidity in the room. I was a little itchy just because the humidity of the area affects my allergies, but for others this might not be a bother. I would recomme d to use softener when washing the towels, they were really hard on the skin, specially if you are traveling with kids. They smelled clean and the room and mattress were very clean,. Very convinient the restaurant and they make really nice food. The breakfast was very good as well. It is worth it."

"Over all a good stay, location over the street from Central Station was ideal for day trip to Florence, and only 7 minutes by monorail to airport. Nice staff. Very clean. Would stay again if better room at a cheaper rate. I was disappointed in the room, I booked a more expensive balcony room. Room was on the top floor, in the roof and the "balcony" was a space in the mansard, surrounded by a concrete barrier, no view. This part of the hotel is adjacent to a public food court & thoroughfare that was noisy when the 'balcony' doors were open. The hotel has it's own lovely green courtyard, so when booking I presumed I'd be overlooking this area. I would've asked to be moved but overheard that the hotel was fully booked, as was apparent the next morning with dozens of coach trip seniors at breakfast. I received no reply to the "How was your check-in" email hence this public review. "
