If you're going to Shanghai and want a hotel with the best cost-effectiveness for your stay, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express on the Bund. GREAT location. The breakfast is excellent. The room is very beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The best part is the staff: the English is improving, and everyone at the front desk is simply FANTASTIC. I had a problem paying a taxi driver, and the attendant, Jerry Tang, was definitely perfect, demonstrating initiative and a true interest in solving my problem. In short, stop looking. This is an excellent place to stay in Shanghai!

It would be nice to have something at the entrance to help with bags especially since drop off is practically in the road at the hotel entrance. Location is excellent though. Staff ok. Wifi wasn't working...even staff was frustrated

지하철 10호선 7번출구로 나오면 바로 호텔이여서
대중교통 이용하기 좋았다
객실 깔끔하고 좋은데 한가지 아쉬운거는 난방이 중앙난방식이여서 저녁시간 새벽시간에 방내부온도가 쌀쌀한 경우가 있었다

다만 5층 로비 입구쪽은 세탁실 운영으로 소리에 예민허신 분들은 시끄러울 수 있을 것 같아요
와인 오프너가 없어서 요청 했으나, 결국 받지 못해 아쉬웠습니다
호텔 위치며 , 직원 서비스 , 깔끔한 객실은 정말 좋아요
수질 걱정되어 샤워 부스도 가지고 갔지만 깨끗했어요

Nice room overall, but there was an extremely strong sewer odor coming from the toilet. It was unbearable, and I couldn't stay another night in the room—it made me feel almost sick. Additionally, there were no windows for ventilation, which made the situation even worse.

Excellent hôtel très bien situé près des attractions principales. La chambre impeccable très technologique. Services autant lobby que le service de nettoyage.
Seul point négatif, on avait deux chambres et ça prit un plus long moment avant d’avoir la deuxième, car elle n’était pas propre, cependant après 2h d’attente ils nous ont donné une autre chambre sur le même étage.
