May 14, 2026Villa Florence had some good things, but overall the experience was a little disappointing. The price was cheap and the room itself was not bad. The laundry service was good and the staff were friendly when we could contact them.
However, there were several issues. The rooms do not have a refrigerator, which was inconvenient. Before arriving, I texted the hotel saying I would arrive around 5 AM because I booked the night before specifically to check in early, and they confirmed it would not be a problem. But when I arrived around 6 AM, there was nobody at the hotel. I had to call them and wait about 20 minutes for someone to come.
There is basically no staff at the hotel, so anytime you need help you have to call someone. The free breakfast is also not at the property — you need to walk around 10 minutes to another hotel to get it. The pool was dirty, and the hotel felt abandoned since it was completely empty with most of the lobby lights turned off. We were literally the only guests there.
It’s okay if you only want a very cheap place to stay, but don’t expect much service or atmosphere.
