Very clean room and nice hotel, free drinks and sake tasting. The hotel is 3-stop by tram from Toyama station and walk to the Toyama station is about 15 mins. It is very close to the Toyama castle and the famous glass musume.

After spending two weeks at Hotel Enoe, I feel I had enough time to form a fair impression of the property. The positives are straightforward: the hotel is clean, the bed linens are comfortable, the air conditioning works well, and the location is convenient. The housekeeping team deserves recognition for consistently maintaining the rooms to a high standard. The renovated lobby also creates a good first impression. The shortcomings are mostly related to service. For international visitors, the parking arrangement is confusing and expensive. I still struggle to understand why the hotel charges ¥2,000 for overnight parking when nearby options are often available for ¥700–¥1,700. More disappointing was the service philosophy at the front desk. Staff were always polite, but rarely seemed interested in helping beyond their assigned duties. One evening around 9 PM, when the lobby was quiet, I asked if the front desk could help call a local restaurant to make a reservation. The request was politely declined. While this may be hotel policy, I have received this kind of assistance from staff at many North American motels. There is also a noticeable contrast between the renovated lobby and the guest rooms. The rooms are clean and functional, but very basic and lack the character suggested by the public spaces. Travelers who value hospitality and proactive guest service may leave with a different impression.

今回はおわら風の盆のために宿泊させていただきました。昨年も使わせていただき、良かったので2度目になります。何が良かったかと言うと、ロビーでの地酒とソフトドリンク飲み放題サービスです。しかし、昨年よりパワーダウンしていてちょっとがっかりしました。次回はどうかなぁ？

朝食の美味しさにびっくりしました。海鮮丼やホタルイカの沖漬け、富山の名物がたくさん食べれました。白エビのカレーなんかもありました。連泊するなら1日は絶対食べてみてほしいです。リモートワークにも最適かなと思います。ただ、駅から結構歩きます。市電に慣れてなかったので、この点は苦労しました。
