Hotel staff lovely and helpful especially Dora . The room was nice and airy and very clean. Breakfast was good . Location was brilliant as ideal for the bus from the airport and a tram stop outside. The hotel was a few hundred metres from the Danube and Vaci street on the side of the hotel had loads of places to eat. Next door had a unique bar called ‘for sale’

The room I was assigned was spacious and stylishly designed and decorated; however, ir was not very clean. The floor looked like it had not been swept, let alone mopped. There were also little insects (larger than ants) crawling across the floors. I paid 18 euros for what was described as an all you can eat breakfast, but it was disappointing. The options were limited and definitely not worth 18 euros. The hotel.is in a great location, and from a purely aesthetic perspective (modern furnishings and decor), it checks the boxes. But from a cleanliness perspective, there is a lot of room for improvement.

Lovely newly refurbished hotel. We booked a junior suite with breakfast. Our room (110) was situated on a corner with windows overlooking the Central Market Hall on one side and views over the square to Liberty Bridge from the other. The decor is beautiful, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and well appointed. My only negative about the room is there are no drawers, cupboards etc, so when you unpack everything is on display. It’s just a personal preference for me as I like the room to look tidy. Breakfast is on level -1 and there is lots of choice of continental options and a few hot dishes, the scrambled eggs were especially good. The room was never very busy when we ate, usually around 9am. We felt the hotel was in an excellent location with a number of restaurants in very short walking distance. We had a late flight home and the hotel was able to store our luggage until late afternoon for us. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good location , breakfast is ok, one receptionist was super nice although another wasn’t very friendly (when we asked about directions she literally told us to use Google Maps instead ) my major negative point is cleanliness- the room floors were extremely dirty (although wooden floors shouldn’t be difficult to clean!) this made me question the cleaning process and therefore didn’t have housekeeping clean throughout the stay.

The hotel is in a good location and has been nicely restored and furnished. Unfortunately, the management is not at the level expected from a 4-star hotel. Housekeeping was rather superficial, and the tea and coffee supplies in the room were not always replenished. I also found the daily replacement of both towels and bed linen unnecessary and environmentally irresponsible. Guests should be given the choice, rather than having everything changed automatically every day. The most serious issue, however, was the luggage storage. After check-out, our luggage was left for about six hours in an outdoor container exposed to direct sunlight during an extreme heatwave, without any warning. We had a laptop and medications in our bags. The staff apologised, but this is not acceptable. Guests should be informed in advance if luggage is stored in such conditions, so they can remove temperature-sensitive items.
