A lovely place in a very quiet and beautiful setting. The staff/owners were very friendly and welcoming. The trout cooked on the bbq was excellent. Great place for a stopover away from everything.

I loved this hotel, down a little country road at the bottom of a valley it stands on it's own in lovely green surroundings by a river. Brilliant for hikers. We we welcomed by the owners, Willi and Ingrid, who were wonderful. Our room was at the top of the house, quite a few stairs inside, or steps if you walked outside. There was a kettle in the room which is really important for me. We slept really well and heard owls hooting at night-time. There is a typical German style wooden outside bar area where barbecues are held, we ate inside and had 3 good meals, freshly prepared, there's no choice but the steak and trout were amazing. Nice shower gel/shampoo provided, ample, safe parking (we were on motorcycles). Breakfast was great too. We will definitely stay here again because the area is beautiful and the hotel and other guests were so friendly.
