The Cerritos Beach Inn is the Gem of the Cerritos/Pescadero area! My wife and I stayed here on Valentine's day/night and the boutique hotel and the staff could not be more gracious. We ate three meals, all amazing and the drinks don't disappoint either.
The hotel and restaurant are the spot to be for sunset. During our evening drinks and meal many whales could be spotted just offshore including a mother teaching her baby the art of "flippering" and lobtailing.
Our room was clean, had a very comfy bed, great shower, and a wonderful view of the water.
A big shoutout to Ricardo, he never stopped hustling and managed to take care of everyone. Also, it was great to meet the new owner Pete. You can tell he has a passion for the place and creating a fun vibe for everyone. Thanks for taking care of us!
IF you are staying in the Cerritos area, this is a must stay!

I recently stayed at Cerritos Bean Inn and had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. This place really delivers on everything you’d want in a beach getaway.
The food and bar were outstanding—great variety, fresh ingredients, and the drinks were consistently excellent. Whether it was a casual lunch or sunset cocktails, everything hit the mark.
One of the biggest highlights is the swimmable beach, which can be hard to find in some areas. It’s perfect for relaxing, cooling off, or just enjoying the ocean safely. If you’re into surfing, you’re in luck—there are great surf spots nearby, and everything is just a short walk away, including other fun beach bars.
The sunsets here are absolutely stunning—some of the best I’ve seen anywhere. It’s the kind of place where you’ll want to pause every evening and just take it all in.
The staff truly made the stay special. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, always going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.
Finally, the rooms were very clean and well-kept, which made it easy to fully relax and enjoy the stay.
Overall, Cerritos Bean Inn is a fantastic spot if you’re looking for great food, a lively but laid-back atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and easy access to beach activities. I’d absolutely come back.

Had a lovely week at the CBI. Super chill and on a quiet stretch of beautiful beach where you can walk for ages. Easy stroll to a teeny, surf town. Incomparable ocean front rooms and the restaurant is really great and had the best margaritas on the whole trip! Staff are friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to Ricardo who is a wonderful person.

Magical boutique hotel with crashing waves to fall asleep by. Very friendly staff and delicious meals looking out on the beach and watching an amazing sunset and frolicking whales. There's new management who are working hard to ensure the hotel is as beautiful as it's surroundings. I will definitely return!
