My husband and I arrived around two thirty, hoping to maybe check in a bit early because it was our anniversary. They told us it would be about a half hour, which we were okay with.So we walked around the property outside for a bit. We went back in to see if the room was ready.And we're told numerous times it's not ready.They're mopping the floor not much explanation. We sat there from 3 and didn't get into our room till about 5 o'clock. No apologies, no explanations and was very frustrating. The room was clean and quiet.Obviously it was a new hotel, so it should have been.That's partly why we stayed there. The hotel itself was great, but a very disappointed in the staff. I was disappointed with our stay and was offered no compensation discount or time to stay longer the next day since we lost 2 hours of our stay.
