This review is based on a very specific event weekend in Lockhaven. Confusing - is an appropriate adjective, convenient is another. It wasn't clear that ONLY 1st floor rooms are rented. It wasn't clear that there isn't a legitimate phone number to call this place. Communication is via email, but the emailed information didn't really match the reality. While the hotel offers adjacent parking, there was no parking due to the local event that closed off street access. Messages about parking legally [or not] at an adjacent business were left unanswered. The room was large with a full kitchen. Smelled a little dated, but other wise good. This place is adjacent to a church with bells that go off on the hour - at all hours. Access to the the town and river are perfect. Most businesses were closed due to Labor Day weekend. Local restaurants that were open focused on fried food. Would we stay here again? Yes. Beautiful area. The church bells? Quaint. Just don't plan on sleeping much.

The condo was lovely, and super comfortable. We were at the beginning of a very long trip, and it was terrific to have a lovely full kitchen, so we could reheat our leftovers, and set up a nice breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable. Despite being on a busy corner, it was very quiet. It was also great to have designated parking. I have only two issues: the doorway is dark, so seeing the way to get to the pad in order to get to our room key was problematic; and we are people people, so it would have been nice to, at least, meet our inkeepers. Other than that, it was a lovely stay. We were sorry it was so short, and we would definitely stay there again when we are in the area.
