Our home base for exploring SW Ireland
We were well treated here. Staff are always available and have good local knowledge.Breakfast omelettes were excellent and we ate 2 dinners in the (popular with the locals) pub. The hotel is in a middle class neighborhood with good walking access to the centre and bus routes north out of town (including the airport).

Fair
30 mins to check in, receptionist working in the bar and serving food. No heating even after turning on radiator. Hot water in both taps in the shower. Noise downstairs in the bar until 1 am. Would not ring a taxi for me, just gave me a number and said call but would be better if you walked into town. €189 for one night in a poor standard hotel who claim to be 3 star but really a 1 star at best. I was ripped off because of the Munster rugby match in the area.

A fine enough establishment - front desk staff friendly but that welcome didn't persist into the pub staff. Room was fine but we were over the pub which was quite loud.
