I just visited Yangshou with my mum. We both loved staying at the Lisa Boutique Hotel. The staff were so friendly, with a big thank you to Kelly for helping to organise numerous transfers and day trips. The hotel is located in the main town of Yangshou, in a quiet pocket with easy walking access to the busier, louder and more touristy parts of town. It was the perfect location for us, easy to potter around in the evening but a nice, quiet place to return to. The hotel really was as pretty as it looks in the photos. I booked balcony rooms for us and we both enjoyed being able to sit out on the little balconies soaking up the views. If I get the opportunity to return to Yangshou I would definitely stay here again. In general if you are thinking about travelling to Yangshou I highly recommend it, one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.
