The check in was a new experience for me, using a kiosk but it was easy. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

It was hard to find, due to us looking for hotel blu, and not a hotel 6 ( the sign had not changed. But overall it was clean, and quiet.

The check in was different for me. Had a Keosk with a person who checked me in. Fortunately the receptionist helped me. The room was clean had your basic refrigerator and microwave, towels and wash clothes. No coffee pot. The water in the sink was hot but the shower was lukewarm. I left it running for a while and it never heated up. No breakfast items unless you purchased them. Coffee was free! I’ve learned over the years of traveling to bring all the necessary items, including breakfast and a small coffee maker. Paper towels, Kleenex, plastic ware and a throw. It was quiet and the area around the hotel was nice. I would stay there again.

Friendly front desk clerk, they allowed both my pets, a dog and a cat. The room was clean and AC was already running with a nice cool room. Just there for one night, would stay there again.

Nice place for the price, staff was friendly, however this is not “hotel blu”, this is a Motel 6. Was confused when I pulled in. Room itself was clean, some things were broken like the security latch on the door, but overall good value.

Shower doors were off track and dirty on the inside, I repaired them myself. Toilet seat had a Crack in it, needing to be replaced. Other than that clean and staff was nice

Virtual check in at a kiosk (think virtual banker machine at a drive through ATM) by the front desk worked fine, but when the line got longer, an enloyee appeared and checked us in. An older building, it is actually a Motel 6. It was clean and functional, recently renovated but the AC had not been upgraded-it sounded like an unbalanced washing machine when on, but in the heat wave, we were just glad it worked . Not sure why the smoke detector had a plastic bag over it, if it was malfunctioning or what. The water pressure was great, the shower was old but, again, functional. All carpets had been replaced with tile floors, which, as I was on a knee scooter, was great. All in all, a good place to stop for the night, right on the frontage road to I70 in Columbia (Como).

The couch was 6 inches off the floor so hard to sit on. The TV was very small. The was no shampoo or conditioner. The matress slide too freely on the bed. The matress was very comfortable. Water was nice and hot. Tub was very slippery.

I read the reviews for this hotel and because only one appeared negative, I decided to stop here for the evening. The staff were wonderful and very eager to help. They gave me a first floor room and adjacent to an entry door which appeared to be very accommodating on their part. However, this has to be the worst place I have stayed in many years. The hotel appears to be going through a transition from Motel 6 to Hotel Blu. I expected an older room. I did not expect what appeared to be mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom or around the electrical connection to the airconditioning unit. On the surface the room appeared to have been a quick clean up but it probably had not been used/renovated or repaired since the transition had been started. It was 10:30 at night, I had driven all day, and decided that it was okay to just stop for the evening and sleep. I didn't use the shower because it looked disgusting. I am sorry that the staff was so kind but representing such a downtrodden and undesirable place to stay. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

The language barrier is the reason for my scoring. The toilet was broke and it kept running all day and night. I tried to fix it the first night and then told a couple workers the next morning, still broke when I left. The toilet seat was broken, told them within an hour of arriving. That didnt get addressed. The bathroom above the tub wall had something on it, they allow animals so I wonder if it was from one of them. The door in the bathroom was scratched up bad. One wall had water damage you could tell by the water bubbles. The TV is small compared to the room, but that didn't matter to me. If you are staying with 18 and under girls watch them like a hawk, not all guests have good intentions. Suggestion kleenex in the rooms, freezer in the mini frig would be nice, and have the walls cleaned better. There was something on multiple walls. I know it is under new management, so I want to give them grace. The pool was working.

Overall, the hotel itself was clean, and the indoor pool was well-maintained, clean, and safe to swim in. The AC worked well, and the room was comfortable enough for an overnight stay. However, my biggest concern was the hotel's use of a remote Customer Service Kiosk instead of an in-person front desk. As a Deaf traveler who relies heavily on lipreading, this system was very difficult to use. I had to communicate with a representative through a TV screen, and there were no captions available. The representative had an accent that was difficult for me to understand, and he frequently forgot to turn on the volume. Reading lips on a screen is already challenging, and without captions, it created significant communication barriers and anxiety. I had to rely on the voice-to-text captioning app on my phone to understand the conversation, which caused delays and made the check-in process much longer. In my opinion, this setup is not accessible for Deaf and Hard of Hearing guests and raises ADA accessibility concerns. The check-in experience became even more frustrating when I was assigned a room that had not been cleaned or prepared. The bed was unmade, and the room was clearly not ready for occupancy. I had to return to the kiosk, explain the issue, wait while the representative contacted hotel staff, and then receive a second room assignment. Fortunately, the second room was clean and ready. The bathtub looked older but was functional. The mattress was firmer than I prefer, bu

My wife and I had a really pleasant stay at the hotel. The highlight of our stay was the service of the staff, which was excellent! There was daily room service, which was a welcome surprise! The hotel was close to the major commercial spots of Columbia too. The only issue we had was the initial confusion about the name of the hotel as we saw Motel 06 everywhere. They are in a transitional phase and everything carries the old logo and the name. We were a bit hesitant to use the Check-in kiosk but that was no trouble at all. We will definitely stay at Hotel Blu again!

The property was wonderful. The staff was polite and accommodating. The room was very nice and spacious. The issues I experienced were with Expedia, not the hotel. I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel experience.

It was fine for the money. It was clean, safe, comfortable enough. No breakfast (which I understood). A few annoyances. This is a Super 8, so it was a little confusing to look for Hotel Blu and pull into a Super 8. There is a virtual check-in, which is fine, except when an employee is carrying on a loud conversation with others a few feet from you. No facial tissues (so used a lot of toilet paper for my runny nose). The toilet flapper didn't seat correctly, so I had to manually set it every time to stop the toilet from running.

Transitioning from Motel 6 to Hotel Blu but much better than a Motel 6. Staff was helping and flexible when I asked for late check-out then ended up leaving in time, they didn’t charge me.

The decor was pretty stark: no carpet, the room had little furniture, the TV was maybe a 32” unit. AC worked very well and the bed was comfortable but the sheets looked like it was ( I hope!) stained and there were only two pillows. The floor of the shower was kind of sketchy. Towels were clean, water was hot. For the money, it was okay.
