We enjoyed a couple of nights stay, the owner was very helpful going out of her way to offer advice on local things to do and restaurants & staff even cleaned your car.
The rooms were a little small for people with a lot of luggage as there wasn’t a lot of wardrobe space but this wasn’t a problem for staying a couple of nights. On arrival, I thought that the lack of air conditioning would be a problem as it was @ 30+ degrees outside, however once the windows and French doors were opened it cooled down very quickly & there is a ceiling fan in the room in any case. The room was kept spotlessly clean by the staff & was comfortable.
The breakfast was superb with more food than we could possible eat.
The only issue that may cause a problem for some was that the path to the rooms consisted of gravel, bags couldn’t be easily rolled along & really needed to be carried, it would be better with a stone path so that bags could be pulled along, I suspect that as the staff were so helpful anyone who had real issues could have got the bags delivered to their room for them.
For anyone staying on a Sunday, it would be advisable to book a restaurant as several in the town are not open & the better ones get booked up fast.
