The hotel is old. The wifi password contains the numbers “1910” and that seems a likely vintage. The hotel has no elevators. You have to carry your bags up a small spiral staircase. There are no rooms on the ground floor. Finally, you can hear every footstep and movement in the room above as if they were in the same room. So if the patron above you rises at 4:30 AM, you will too.

Good stay
it is tidy and clean. The mattress is quite comfortable. Although the room size is a little bit tight, overall worth the value.

Nice stay for the new long weekend. I can't complain about the room and price point. The only thing is that you can hear everything going on in the hallways, including staff cleaning etc. But that's not their fault.

2/10 Poor

I have a horrible sense of smell and still the stench was overwhelming!!!! Have never smelt anything like it in my life. Also the bathroom was really gross and the shower curtain was visibly mouldy…. Great area to stay in though if you’re willing to put up with the horrible conditions of the rooms.

2/10 Poor

After 4 different sets of keys failed we had to keep going to the liquor store downstairs to get the attendant to let us into our room each time we went out. This limited our time we could be out to before 11:00 when they closed. Overall not a great experience.

We thought the place from the outside and neighboring area was too risky & sketchy to stay int. We chose to forfeited the money we paid for a nights stay rather then to stay in Squamish!

For the money it was fine, take this in mind when booking. Friendly guy on reception. Rooms dated. Great shower. Room was clean till I looked under the bed. Bedding was clean. Plenty of towels. Good budget hotel.

6/10 Good

I’ve attempted to contact the hotel regarding our stay but cannot get through via email. This is a portion of the email I tried sending: First off, I had to keep popping Advil to try to get rid of a headache from all of the air fresheners that are throughout (hallway, room..) even our pillows smelled like they were soaked in a musty vanilla scent. I did ask the front desk if there was any unscented soap anywhere and there was a bit of a misunderstanding when instead I was offered a spray air freshener. The room was in a bit of disrepair... the handle to open the window was broken off, the only bedside lamp was a struggle to turn off once on, there was a lot of mould on the shower curtain (and in turn, the wall where the shower curtain brushed against) and hairs in the tub before even using the bathroom. The bathroom door was super noisy just slightly opening it to the halfway point. For $145 for the night, it was definitely not worth the stay. I didn’t mention that it could use a freshen up of paint and such. And the mattress was hard and noisy springs (everytime you try to roll over!) If you have any mobility issues, don’t stay there… there’s only a spiral staircase to get to the rooms from what I could see. It was good for location of walking to parks and coffee shops.
