The room and bathrooms were clean and nicely decorated. I was here during the Fringe Festival in a small room street-side, where there was a lot of noise and activity. No luggage storage which was disappointing since my flight arrived in the morning and check in time was 3pm. Bathrooms are not in en suite.

The room was very nice looking and the bed was comfortable. The room felt hot at times. The floor in the room has several loose boards in the floor. My husband cut his foot on a nail or loose board. It is very difficult to get in touch with management. Shared bathroom was a joke. Got undressed for shower only to discover there was no water in the shower. Towels felt like sandpaper and the bath towel was the size of a large dinner napkin. For 1200.00 dollars for 3 nights you would expect a lot more.

Way too expensive for what it is (CA $334.69 / 1 night). Had the single bedroom (single bed). Not an hotel but a guest house (it uses a regular physical key hehe, haven't seen that in a long time :D ). Didn't realised this was a shared bathroom at the time and that I needed to confirm / call the guesthouse owner on his mobile BEFORE check-in normally (otherwise, you will not be able to enter) - I do not know if he's availaible 24/7. No elevator. The shared bathroom and room however were clean, nothing to complain about, but didn't used the shower. Cleaned once a day for I believe 4-5 guests (which sounds reasonnable I believe?). Wi-Fi was so slow it could be considered unusable (12-15 MBps with Speedtest I believe?), did not bothered and used mobile data instead. Would find another location next time.

5 bedrooms sharing 2 bathrooms on the first floor. Met at the property to receive keys and a short introduction. Clean, well presented and well maintained throughout. Kettle provided along with complimentary tea, coffee and toiletries. 15 minute walk from Waverley station and The Playfair Wetherspoons is 5 minutes walk away.

This hotell is in a great place. The room is stunning, the staff is friendly. But the rooms do not get cleaned if you do not ask for it. We stayed for a week and when you stay that long you need a couple of cleanings. For a weekend it would be perfect.

This hotel offers nothing, The bed was comfortable but I might as well slept in my car. No hotel staff except to give you a key to open the door. The building was noisy even in the middle of the night. I would not recommend at all for the money.

Lovely room.some nice touchs but no milk! nice fridge to cool water in or can. beautifully decorated. Comfy bed. Down side felt slightly unsafe as no chain on door to room any key holder could of got in. Cleaning, last persons toothpaste and opened shower gets were still in place.

My check in was terrible, it was raining and no one responded which left us standing in the rain. I tried the next door where there were a couple people chatting, I asked if they knew the contacting person, then a guy came to me and passed me the keys and let us in. Unforgettable experience which I never had.

I’ll start with positives. Affordable. Has an architecture charm. Owner actually responsive even tho you are required to call. But overall my stay was poor. I left early on my 3 night stay. Shared bathroom with 5-6 other rooms. (Gets messy) Forced to call number to get keys no one to greet you, just some guy who lives there giving keys out when you (attempt) to call . No cleaning service for bedroom, no fresh towels given past first day. WiFi too poor to connect to channels on TV. You hear everything on the street at night. If you need a cheap spot to crash, sure this is works but your better off in a hostel, paying extra. But don’t even bother stating past one night.

1/5 – Be aware before booking I would encourage anyone considering this property to read the accommodation details very carefully. I was disappointed to discover that the bathroom and shower were shared, as this was not sufficiently clear to me before I booked. If I had realised this in advance, I would have chosen different accommodation. The lack of clarity significantly affected my stay and left me feeling misled. If having a private bathroom is important to you, I strongly recommend contacting the property before booking to confirm exactly what facilities are included with your room. I hope this review helps other travellers make a fully informed decision and avoid the same disappointment.
