DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!!!!!! They participate in the classic bate and switch. The apartment that is showing in the advertisement will NOT the place you will be staying. There are two buildings, Phase I and Phase II. Phase II is the newer building and the one that they show in the photos, but once you get there they tell you that they no vacancies at that building and put you in the older building with the less than favorable amenities. Even though you selected your room based on the photos, they'll tell you that you "selected" the Phase I building. They will tell you that there is "no refunds" so you either take the old, beat down apartment....or you can leave....because they already have your money and they don't give a damn about you at this point.

Very nice property with an infinity pool, steps from the beach and amazing security. The apartment was very nice, modern and spacious. Hot water was out but was fixed quickly when I made them aware. Two things that need to be addressed for the apartment K2, 1. Safe was locked and I was told the master key was with the owner in the US (safe needs to be in working order for me to stay again.) My friend who also stayed there was told the same thing about the safe for his apartment. 2. The curtains in the bedroom are a bit broken and there are security lights right outside the window and they shine unlike a spotlight. I had trouble sleeping the first night and we put a beach towel up there to block it. This needs to be fixed and perhaps get some thicker curtains to block the light coming in. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at Grand Laguna. The food at the poolside restaurant was excellent. They proximity to the beach was great. Although the waves and under tow at the beach can be rough, it is a beautiful locations with some beautiful rock formations. I would definitely stay here again. I also would like thank Jesus for the service that he provided me and my family.

The Managers were extremely helpful with everything we requested.The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The food was delicious.I wish that there were more people around the property.That always adds to the EXCITEMENT. We were completely satisfied and plan to return soon.

The property is in a good location, overlooking the beach. Unfortunately (and even though they have guards walking around with guns), they allow very rowdy behavior to ruin the peacefulness of other guests. We had to leave early and seek other accommodations because of this, even though their own rules state that it's not allowed.
