Couldn't speak highly enough for our stay at Liongate House, the loveliest hosts, a beautiful room perfect for our group, very clean bathroom, comfy beds, the fact breakfast is included was fantastic and it was absolutely delicious. A beautiful part of the world and a beautiful property, garden and people to go with it. Definitely recommend!!

This place is stunning, clearly ran with a personal passion and pride by both husband and wife. They were lovely people, the room was stunning with a great attention to detail, comfortable immaculate room with ‘little extras’. Garden also beautiful and peaceful and a lovely place to sit out. We would choose this place first time every time we are in the area. As for the breakfast, well tomatoes were fresh from the garden so what more can I say, again delicious and made with care and pride, lots of choice and yummy .

Met our hosts they were very welcoming when we arrived. Our room was very clean and comfortable, our daughter was travelling with us she had a small room next to us. The next morning we had a full English breakfast also cereal and toast if you wanted it. I must mention the back garden like something from a gardening magazine, with a beautiful large pond and water feature.

From the welcome plate of delicious home made brownies to the delicious breakfast before departure, our stay at Liongate House was faultless. Beautiful, and as lovely as the reviews that led us to stopover in this gorgeous place on our way to the Cornish coast. Beautifully appointed room, amazing hospitality and friendliness and we only wished we had had more time to enjoy. It was spotlessly clean and we had a very warm welcome from Liz, the owner. I must admit , she goes the extra mile when it comes to make us comfortable. The breakfasts are extra special. She makes the bread herself and also makes the marmalade. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Liongate B&B

This was an absolute delight. Exceptional in everything from the hosts, room, bathroom, selections of teas, extras. There was nothing at all missing. Lovely temperature. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of room. Free soft drinks from the fridge downstairs. Breakfast was excellent with homemade jams, fresh strawberries, raspberries organic yoghurt. Selection menus for cooked breakfast, fresh juices and plenty of tea and coffee all served in a lovely room. Can’t rate this place highly enough. Will definitely go again if in the area.
