Great room, comfy clean beds with a classic NH ski motel vibe. I bet it’s even better in the summer when you can go see the river. A short walk from two covered bridges! And about a 10 minute drive from MT. Washington. 10/10 recomend

This is a vintage motel, meaning it was probably built in the 70s or early 80s, and has never been updated. That said, for the area it's in, it is priced appropriately and considerably less than neighboring newer motels. It felt mostly, but not completely, clean and had a slightly musty old building smell, mixed with disinfectant. The staff I interacted with weren't particularly warm or welcoming, but they weren't horrible either. The motel is right across the street and a 2 minute walk to The Red Fox Bar & Grille that had exceptionally good food and service. It's only 20 minutes to Wildcat. Those two positives justifiy staying here, if you're looking for a low budget option. My only complaint is that the mattresses in my room were completely shot and saggy. I woke up with a backache. Other than that, on a budget/cheapest option for only a night or two, I would probably stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay! The parking was easy, check in went smoothly, there is a free coffee/ hot chocolate bar all day and milk etc, lobby has a nice fireplace, room was clean overall, clean towels, nothing fancy, comfy beds, did the trick! Clean and comfortable for price, but dated. Almost no service. When you enter for check in there is a phone number to call, took 15 minutes for someone to arrive. Never saw a person at the desk. When calling the number for service the woman had very curt replies. Not very friendly. Breakfast food was bagels to toast and butter, cream cheese, jelly. All were old and stale, could not eat. No one to tell cause no one was there!!! I would not go back.

Perfect

My family was relocating and we had a few days before we could move into our new place. I'm so glad we decided to stay here. It's clean and cozy. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa, bagels, and oatmeal are served every morning in the beautiful little lobby. The fireplace was on and they have it decorated so beautiful. The older women at the desk is so kind, she works really hard to make sure everyone has coffee and bagels. She was wonderful. I would definitely stay again.
