Amazing resort minutes away from Florence
Our stay at Florence Hills and Resort was great! Service was amazing, all staff was very attentive. Nice pool size and outdoor lounging and seating area to relax after walking around Florence. The suite was comfortable and very clean. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed a great meal. We had the ham and cheese board, the risotto with pears and almonds, and the Fiorentina aka a huge T-bone steak. Can’t forget to mention the astonishing views of the mountains, so calming!

Stay away from this place
The property is really nice in terms of design with lots of potential but unfortunately it’s really poorly run. The staff was helpful and kind but there were only 3 people working on the entire place, no receptionist, no concierge, no customer service. I would never stay here again.

So i am pretty picky person, but its its nothing to complain about this property!!starting with Sara that waited for us almost 30 minutes without even knowing if we are gonna arrive or not.plus she took thw time to show us the room and give us some traveling tips!! Plus the lady from the breakfast area was extra nice and brought us some salami and cheese since we got there late and it was nothing left! The room was very clean and beautiful view!! Thank you all for making put stay great!!!

Amazing hotel and spa with stunning views. Beautiful building and rooms with a good choice of breakfast items. Very welcoming hosts and a very relaxing experience. I will definitely go back! Good location
a good location - you can see a lot of Tuscany. The view from restaurant and some windows towards the hills was brilliant but not from our room. Not very comfortable bathroom-sitting on the toilet bowl-my head was reaching the glass door of the shower. On the second day when someone collect the rubbish ( no cleaning during our stay ) and made our beds a part from our makeup was gone to. overall happy with the privacy in separate buildings.

Very relaxing place
I stayed at the resort on my own and the staff were amazingly friendly, helpful and I didn't feel like I was on my own ! The facilities really suit couples so I'd highly recommend, just set off early if you wish to commute into the city centre as the buses in the area are not very frequent but cheap Overall it's been great, fresh breakfast everyday and warm cosy room to relax !

Stayed there during vacation, visiting Florence, Bologna and Sieci (with rented car). Nice quiet location, spacious rooms with microkitchen, fresh air, scenery. The only little problem - very few restaurants nearby, so the day I missed to have dinner in the city there was little choice around.

Hmmmm....
I am very baffled about this place: it looked very glamorous but did not feel right since we arrived. extremely hard to find due to lack of sign posts, awkward entrance to the garage that we could not find at first. lack of directions to the reception, small staircase with water leak leading out of the car park (extremely difficult and dangerous with heave suitcases). due to my partner`s health issues I have asked for a possibility to have a room with balcony. This has been accommodated but we overlooked a scrap yard and housing estate :( i was sooooo gutted as i was hoping for wonderful Tuscan rolling hills view). also, we were placed above a couple with one noisy child. their friends with another small child were staying on the other side of the resort. why would you put a childless couple next to a family?? about the place: i really don`t know what to think.. It was nice but the location spoiled it all; also, we assumed there will be no children in place like that as there is absolutely nothing to do for them. plus who brings kids to a spa hotel? Unfortunately that was not the case and the children were running wild due to lack of activities for them. water in the pool was freezing! swimming not possible despite 27 degrees outside. Breakfast was nice, staff friendly. but overall it did not feel right :( shame

Great views from this hotel high in the Florence Hills. Staff friendly and helpful. We had the Classic Suite and accommodation was more than large enough for 4 of us. Represents fantastic value for money, especially as breakfast included. Small kitchenette (2 induction hob rings) meant we could prepare simple meals if too tired to go out in the evening. Very convenient for visiting Florence which was main purpose of our visit. Also great location for visiting local vinyards and hill towns.

My wife got very bad hay fever after our 2nd day in Italy and were forced to stay back at Genoa for 1 more day for a doctor appointment. Due to this complication, I needed to call Florence Hill Resort to cancel my "non-refundable" reservation for the 1st day. The reception lady really knows what service means and instead of giving me hard time about the cancellation, she told me "no problem, we'll cancel it for you and most important is your wife to get better." This really impressed me...
