Sep 28, 2026Our stay at Comfort Inn Morelia was acceptable until one night when I suddenly started experiencing intense itching all over my body. I eventually realized that the room had bed bugs.
The hotel staff moved me to another room, which I appreciate, but after an experience like that, I obviously could no longer sleep with the same peace of mind.
Unfortunately, the following day, one of my companions found a cockroach in their coffee, which only added to our concerns about the hotel's cleanliness and hygiene.
What was particularly concerning was that the staff did not seem surprised by either situation. This gave us the impression that these issues may not be isolated incidents.
I believe the hotel needs a thorough pest control treatment and a much closer review of its cleanliness standards. The staff was courteous in moving me to another room, but overall, these experiences significantly affected our stay and our confidence in the hotel's hygiene.

Nov 28, 2022Ok Hotel
It is a nice convenient hotel close to a lot of things took us about 20min to get to the plaza. Overall good comfortable stay the only bad thing I would say is that the keys to the doors never work. I went to reception 5 times which was so annoying. Front reception workers were nice except for one man who seem bothered that I kept asking the to program my key but how is that my fault.

Apr 22, 2023We were given a room with no air conditioning. I asked the front desk about it and they offered a fan to which I said no because it was very hot in the room (88 fahrenheit at that moment). They obliged and gave me a different room which was nice but I felt like a bother. Room was pretty clean and comfortable, other than uneven pillows, but hallways were dirty and the free breakfast included with the stay includes bread, fruit and yoghurt, and juice, while there is a buffet table set up for an additional cost of around 159 pesos per person. Just be aware, the free breakfast is not great.
