Pleasing waterfront location with massive in room
Who doesnt like a massive spa in your lounge where you can watch tv. Plenty of parking. Room needed some repairs. Balcony door was hard to open and close. Bathroom door did not close fully. Both issues appeared long term issues. Good compact kitchen. Rooms were very very spacious. Need to be fit enough to carry luggage up sweeping outdoor staircase. Communal washer & dyer need updating. Staff friendly and helpful.

Comfortable enough for two nights.
Check in was a hassle as renovations were taking place, so the reception had been relocated to the adjoining motel. Lots of people trying to check in at the same time! They tried to fob us off with a top floor standard room when we had already booked and paid for a ground floor superior spa room. As a compromise we were then offered a ground floor room for one of the two nights and then we had to move rooms. That wasn't acceptable to us and we reminded the receptionist of what had been confirmed when we paid. Amazingly, it was sorted to our satisfaction and we stayed in a ground floor superior spa room for both nights as planned. The room was a little run down, some tired decor and broken bits here & there, but was comfortable enough for our short visit.

Awesome location. Easy walk to restaurants and bea
The location was amazing, right across the road from the beach. There was an awesome Thai restaurant clise by and idian restaurant as well, But our shower kept blocking up and filling with water, not draning as it should and to flush the toilet you had to pump the button 2 to 3 times before it flushed, plumbing diffinately needed work. Place was spaicous and the outlook from our room awesom. Just a couple of maintenance issues and when we went to checkmout no one in office to advise of the issues.

Be Wary of The Spa Bath
Poor customer service from management, arguing rather than trying resolve initial issue. Kids jumped in the spa bath. Turned on the jets which pumped out a whole load of crap. In the morning I requested they thoroughly clean the bath including jets so the kids could use it after being at splash planet all day. They didn’t, so same thing again. Just fresh towels dumped in the room no service.

Stayed here 10 years ago and loved it so booked again. It did not disappoint. Room 3 has a massive round bath which is very unusual for a motel. Staff very friendly and loved upto our expectations from our previous visit. Certainly kept there standards

Overall our 2 bedroom unit was ok, everything worked. However there was a large hole in the wall in the bedroom, the carpet had a 20-30cm round moth eaten patch in the lounge, it felt like it had just had a quick/poor paint job (paint runs, overspray etc) and there was no artwork on the walls whatsoever.

Staff and service we're amazing and very welcoming, our room was lovely too. Unfortunately guest car parks we're taken by a shipping container, road cone and trailer(possibly relating to current reception construction) meaning we had to park on the road. There was also no latch on our bathroom window to open and close it or to secure it closed, unfortunately this was located beside the staircase/ car park and other guests were able to see into our toilet and shower. We would happily stay again, possibly when its not so busy, thank you for having us.
