Great location. The hotel has no elevator which is a drag carrying luggage up the stairs. Room was spacious with comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. And the staff magnificent.

The location in front of the cathedral is perfect. There’s many place around to eat. Its an historical building, so they don’t have elevator or emergency power plant. The room we booked was smaller than it shows in the photos, so we have to pay for an upgrade

First, the room didn’t look like the pictures on the website. It was small and run down. There was confusion about the rooms, and they gave us one bed when we ordered two beds, so they didn’t even have the correct information. Also, the cleanliness of the room was another concern.
This place doesn’t have AC, so if you run hot, this is not the place for you. Many rooms face the inside of the building, and that's the only window you will have for the air to circulate. We had to use a floor fan in the room, which had probably never been cleaned. On top of that, trying to close the curtain to go to sleep, the pole fell—it was super heavy and thankfully didn’t hit anyone—spreading many dust particles around. The next day, I woke up sick. Two days later, my roommate woke up with allergies, and I contracted a cold that ruined my trip to Cuzco.

Un muy buen hotel en el centro de Arequipa. Previamente estuve hospedado 5 noches en el Wyndham Costa del Sol, el cual, es por mucho el mejor hotel de Arequipa. Pero este hotel (el Plaza) es más diferente, pero bueno. Habitaciones pequeñas pero cómodas, limpias y con las condiciones necesarias para descansar. Su ubicación es inmejorable.

Excelente ubicación y muy bonito hotel, construido en roca volcánica. Maravilloso lugar para desayunar en balcón con vista a la plaza de Armas.
Lo único que deberían mejorar un poco es tener más caudal de agua en el baño.

Très bonne chambre confortable (un peu petite) et très propre. Lit confortable. Bon petit déjeuner varié que l’on peut prendre sur la terrasse donnant sur la Plaza de Armas. Emplacement idéal pour visiter la ville.

Es importante señalar que para acceder a la recepción del hotel hay que subir dos niveles, mediante una escalera de caracol angosta. Puede resultar muy incómodo para personas de edad y/o con alguna lesión. No hay ascensor.
Sobre las habitaciones, parece que sólo 1 tiene vista a la Plaza Mayor de Arequipa. El resto tienen vista interior y/o hacia atrás.

Great location! Charges apply for early check in/late check out. No elevator. Breakfast is decent, view is beautiful. Staff will provide breakfast to go for anyone leaving early (sandwich, juice box, granola bar, fruit). Sound travels through hotel so bring ear plugs if needed. Très bonne location sur la place. Nous avons été déçues chambre très petite, salle de bain également. Pour se laver il ne faut pas bouger car pas de place. Notre poubelle n'était pas vidée très bon petit déjeuner. Wifi marche moyennement bien. Pas de climatisation, il fait chaud ma nuit.
