This resort is located at the very beginning of the Trent/Severn water system. The property carries on a tradition of lodging accommodation that goes back 100 years. Beyond our expectations!
The room was on 2 levels. Kitchen and extra sleeping downstairs and 2 queen beds with (large and well appointed) bathroom upstairs. Both had a outside area (not private) overlooking the lake. The furniture was high quality. There we no electrical outlets at the sides of the beds. But plenty of other outlets, including a USB charging hub. We had dinner one evening sitting at the bar and listening to live jazz. We also had afternoon tea on arrival and breakfast on the day we left. All excellent! The weather was magnificent. There is another restaurant, shop, coffee shop and boat rental within walking distance of the resort. We had a couples massage. Also excellent.
