Lake Superior getaway
We spent two nights away in two different resorts. Both were right on the shore of Lake Superior. We enjoyed the view, beach and restaurants.

Will be back!!
The view was amazing and service was very friendly. Our only disappointment was the breakfast buffet and the lack of service in the restaurant.

Exceptional location
Obvious pride in cleaning, our room had a perfect view of Lake Superior, walked around the building to the shore. Complimentary s’mores kits for fires on the beach. A new favorite vacation for us, going back next year!

8/10 Very good

The property was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Beautiful lake view! However, we did have a few issues that made a less than perfect stay. We stayed for 2 nights. However, we were disappointed that there was no one at the desk after 10pm and our keys were laying on the front counter with our name on the envelope). Our room keys did not work. May have de-magnetized next to my phone (didn’t realize that happened anymore) or did not work in the first place. We called the number left at the lobby and the fellow came from Two Harbors within 15-20 minutes and re-keyed the cards and made sure they worked before he left. But, our late night got even later. It would’ve been so much better if someone had been on-site. The outside lighting is very dark making the numbers on the buildings nearly impossible to read to find our suite. Also, the shower was barely above lukewarm for all of our showers.

We had just spent 3 days hiking the Superior Hiking Trail and were exhausted. We were delighted the on-site restaurant was open until 8pm and their burgers were AMAZING! Try the truffle fries too....yum! Rooms were clean, amazing views of Lake Superior and the staff were very polite and interested in our adventure. There was one staff member who stood out- the maintenance guy Vern. All 4 of us girls were standing outside at 6:45am watching the sunrise over the lake the next morning and reflecting on our trip. Vern, without asking, brought over 4 Adirondack chairs for us to sit in and relax. He made light-hearted jokes with us and just made our morning better. You could tell he is a very hard worker, very observant and cares about the guests' experience. So, THANK YOU VERN!! We appreciated you!

Our unit 420 was a beautiful location on property, very quiet with close parking. The unit was cozy, roomy, very clean, good bed, nice amenities. The beautiful Northwoods decor and cozy fireplace gave us that great Up North comfy feeling. The sound of Superior lapping the shore was so peaceful for slerp. We'll appointed. Large bathroom with alot of towels. Love it here!!
