When I entered the apartment, there was a strong smell of burnt plastic. I reported this to the receptionist, who came to the room, sniffed the air, and dismissively said she couldn’t smell anything. When I asked if she had asthma, which might explain her inability to detect the odor, she rudely replied, ‘No.’ Her attitude was very rude and condescending. She told me that if I wanted to change rooms, I would need to pay extra. I clarified that I wasn’t asking for an upgrade, just a non-smelly room, and even offered to wait until the next day to see if the odor would dissipate. I asked if I could open the windows, but she simply replied, ‘I don’t know,’ in a dismissive manner.
On top of that, the room view wasn’t as advertised. Even though I was staying for five days, I was told I’d have to pay extra for basic amenities like towels. I raised complaints with both Expedia and the hotel, but I was completely ignored. The whole experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing especially zero support from expedia too just quoting there is no refund policy. I emphasised i called eith 5 mins still no one listened.
