Good housekeeping

Suprised to see there was no coffee maker, no hair dryer and no telephone. However the room was clean and after our first night stay we returned from an outing and they had made the bed, left fresh towels and emptied the waste baskets. This was unexpected since we often stay at Travelodge hotel and this would not occur till after your 3rd night stay.

I have stayed here in the past. Not fancy, but clean and quiet. This overnight stay had me placed in a room that had no knob on the hot water controller for the sink, as well as no water stopper. I had to use a waste basket and the tub faucet to shave. Disappointing in that regard.

Charming vintage property

This is a a vintage motel…clean and charming. Th beds were comfortable, the tv worked well and the heating worked quietly and efficiently, All in all, good value for the money, The only negative is the breakfast buffet which was very sparse, But it was adequate. Staff are very friendly and welcoming,

Most places have bkfast for 6 or 6:30 or coffee available in rooms. We were disappointed as when you are travelling you want to get on the road early. We had to go to Tim’s for bkfast. Also there was no hairdryer. Basically we liked the place but were disappointed.

A quaint motel easily accessed off the main road. The proprietor was wonderful, and helpful in providing a kettle. The room was very clean, but there was definitely an issue with the toilet…it ran constantly, and would not flush properly. It’s walking distance to a couple of food options, which is nice.
