Great location! Grocery store across the street, restaurants within walking distance, & a friendly dive center conveniently located right there! Free parking. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed & climate (AC). This is our second time staying here! We think it’s a great value! Plenty of room inside as well as a nice patio to rinse & dry your dive gear.

Het appartement ligt een paar autominuten rijden van het centrum van Kralendijk, dichtbij de west kust en, voor ons heel prettig, het duikcentrum van Dive Friends Bonaire.

Huoneistoihin jaettu mökki hyvällä sijannilla

Olin kaverini kanssa sukellusreissulla ja siihen tarkoitukseen yhden makuuhuoneen huoneisto oli oikein sopiva. Suurella terassilla oli helppo kuivattaa kamppeet ja parkkipaikalle mahtui vuokra-auto (välttämätön Bonairella!) hyvin. Sukellusfirmaan on muutama sata metriä ja sieltä sai 10% alennusta. Myös ruokakauppa on lähellä. Sijaintia pidin muutenkin hyvänä. Kannattaa huomioida, että koska mökki on jaettu kahteen osaan (studio + yhden makuuhuoneen huoneisto) vain kevyellä väliovella, niin IHAN KAIKKI äänet kuuluu puolelta toiselle. Siinä tapauksessa, että varaa samasta mökistä molemmat puolet, eli kahden huoneiston makuuhuoneen, niin äänieristyksen puuttuminen ei ole ongelma. Ajattelenkin tämän majoituksen sopivan paremmin vaikkapa neljän hengen kaveriporukalle kuin pariskunnalle. Siivooja ei käynyt kovin usein mikä ei haitannut muuten, mutta keittiön roskiksen olisin halunnut tyhjäksi useammin. Klo 14 check-out hoitui helposti. Samoin sisäänkirjautuminen, vaikka respa ei ollutkaan enää saapuessamme auki. Hotellilla on uima-allas mutta ei muita palveluja.

Easy, hassle free-check-in and extended check-out. Excellent location ... parking is quite adequate but can be problematic when others park inconsiderately. Be prepared to use the A/C stingily anywhere on Bonaire ... electricity is expensive. Dive Friends Bonaire location and great dive site adjacent to the property. Limited maid service, but plenty of towels. Very good value for the money. Start your dive week with the uplifting 8:00 Sunday mass in Papiamento, the local Creole, at the lovely nearby San Bernardo Church ...

Nice! Close to the sea, big, clean. We went to Bonaire to see our daughter who works there. We rent a car, the ways hev a lot of holes. The temperature is very good. We snorkeled al lot that was very nice.

Resort is good, proximal to the beach and a great shore diving location (cliff) as well as a great place to snorkel (if that's your thing). Never saw the owners, as we arrived and left on the weekend. Staff came every other day to clean the room, and we're very open to extra requests like extra towels/pillows/etc. Stayed here twice, will probably stay again next year. It is very nice, but aside from a pool, there are no extra bells and whistles.

Endroit calme et chaleureux

Première expérience à Bonaire et nous y retournerons. Le Hamlet oasis est un endroit calme et chaleureux. Une épicerie à proximité offre tout ce dont nous avons eu besoin pour notre séjour. Nous avions un appartement avec 1 chambre, suffisamment spacieuse et confortable, la cuisine est bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Attention, le ménage se fait seulement une fois dans la semaine. La réception n'est ouverte que jusqu'à midi, donc prévoir l'appli What'app si vous avez besoin d'un taxi car il n'y a pas de moyen de communication autre si la réception est fermée. Pour les plongeurs, le Captain Don's Habitat est le centre de plongée le plus près (5 min de marche) pour des plongées en bateau. Bien équipé, prévoir un cadenas pour le casier. Attention le style d'accompagnement lors des plongées est très de type "free dive", pour plongeurs expérimentés et autonomes seulement, très différents de ce que nous avions vécus ailleurs mais au combien agréable pour nous. Prévoir un cadenas pour votre casier si vous entreposé votre équipement sur place. Pour les restaurants, il n'y en a pas sur le site du Hamlet, nous n'avons essayé que celui du Captain Don's Habitat et c'était très bien. Si vous voulez être calme, le Hamlet Oasis est tout à fait approprié. La plage disponible n'est accessible qu'en auto, nous n'y sommes pas allés.

Hotel okay, staff not so much!

Was very happy with the accommodations and location. Little disappointed with the distance to the beach. The office staff however needs to improve. When I went in to pay my room tax of the 3 people in the office only Anita acknowledge me in english. She took my receipt and CC card to her desk to process. I stood there while the manager continued to speak in Dutch never once stopping to say welcome. 4 days into the stay we needed matches(gas stove) clean towels ( no rugs so you have to use towels at the entrance) and clean sheets. I spoke to Anita again who after 10 minutes of searching her computer told me we did not get that service because we were only staying 7 days. I them said your telling me your not giving me clean towels or sheets? She finally said she would but again told me about their policy. 2 days later we ran out of toilet paper. I didn't want to deal with Anita again so I went to the store and bought my own. Thursday got a check out not from the office that stated we needed to be out by 11 am no exceptions. If we wanted to store our luggage to come into the office and get the lock combination. Hurried back Saturday morning not to be late for check out. Gathered our luggage and Dive equipment and went to the officc. 11 am nobody there. We waited with another couple until 11:45. Final found a house keeper who took us to a resident who called Anita. Her response, I forget you were checking out. No appolgy. Rude, not welcoming and make you feel like your a bother.

Espaçoso porém não tão funcional para mergulho

Não haviam pessoas disponíveis sempre. Não tinha local para guardar (e secar) equipamentos de mergulho. Limpeza do quarto foi feita uma vez em seis dias. Chão não estava bem limpo. Poderia haver melhor iluminação natural. Todas as janelas tinham tela.

Good location, basic but sufficient facilities

We arrived late to find the reception was closed and no details (in English) about how to check in. Thanks to the help of the taxi driver, we managed to contact the resort manager who responded swiftly but who was not expecting us as the booking hadn't actually been reserved despite our confirmation from expedia. However, thankfully they were still able to accommodate us. As it turns out we ended up with a room with a nice view of the sea and given there are only a few with this, it was a nice surprise. Only negative experience was the noise at 0830 Sunday morning from an industrial JCB/jackhammer on the resort. Some debate whether this was local infrastructure services (sewage works) or development of the resort. We had emailed prior to booking enquiring about noise as there had been some previous reports on Tripadvisor. We were assured noise would not be an issue.
