Spacious, well furnished room with sensible storage options & laptop size safe. Interior probably from the 90’s so quite dated, although in surprisingly good shape for their age. Minibar included. Amenities weren’t clean though. All the drinking glasses, mugs, etc. were dirty.

I’m giving this hotel 5 stars because of the front desk associate with the long hair that checked me in and out as well as their manager when I was checking out. Unfortunately i didn’t get their names. I felt welcomed. The only thing that I would probably complain about was the clogged shower drain. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay here.

The hotel gives only 1 key per room (it is normal card key they could do more but they refuse).
When check in we realised air conditionning was making a strange noise. And when we ask for another room the manager told us we were too poor and shouldn't have a AC. We left the hotel right away. Now the hotel refuses to apply late cancelation policy and charge us the full stay instead of 1 night as written in policy ... Very bad service!!!

Excellent hotel
Great staff. Easy check in. Good size room. Immaculately clean. Comfortable beds. Good airconditioning. There is a safe and a fridge. There is tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom is a good size. Good shower pressure. Breakfast was excellent. Good location about an 8 min walk from the train station. Walk to Mannheim Water Tower and other attractions. Tram stop just up from the hotel takes you to Palace, Jesuit Church etc. Supermarket two blocks away. No complaints at all. Highly recommend.

Wir waren als Paar verreist, um das Gruseldinner "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hide" zu besuchen. Dieses war wirklich sagenhaft, sowohl von der Darstellung, als auch von den Speisen und dem Service. Ich hätte eigentlich gewettet, dass der Service nicht hoteleigen war, es wurde beim Schlussapplaus jedoch auf den Hotelservice hingewiesen.
Ansonsten kann ich nur sagen: Da ist noch extrem viel Luft nach oben.
Bei der Bettensteuer von 3,92 € war der Mann an der Rezeption überfordert, uns auf 5,92 € herauszugeben. Er überlegte, ließ das Kleingeld links liegen und gab dann auf 5 € raus.
Im Zimmer war der eine Stuhl so dermaßen abgeschabt und zerschlissen, den hätte ich eher auf dem Sperrmüll erwartet.
Am Sonntag um 9 Uhr im Speisesaal: Sämtliche Platten waren leer! Wir fragten nach neuem Rührei, das kam dann tatsächlich auch. Croissants und Plunderteile waren leer. Bei den Brötchen und dem Toastbrot waren noch Reste. Auch bei den Platten mit Belag war nahezu alles weg, teilweise waren noch vereinzelte Wurst- oder Käsescheiben zu finden. Auch Obstsalat, oder Joghurt war komplett leer. Wir aßen also immer das, was gerade frisch nachgelegt wurde. Nebenher beobachteten wir, dass zeitweise sogar keine Kaffeetassen mehr zu haben waren. Zwischenrein beschränkten wir uns auf die Karamell-Kekse, weil nichts anderes zu haben war. Um 10.15 Uhr kamen tatsächlich ein paar Croissants, um die man sich schlagen musste!
Die nächste Übernachtung fürs Gruseldinner werden wir in einem anderen Hotel buchen!
