We slept like rocks. The hotel staff were very accomodating and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. Very nice breakfasts. Well communicated by train, bus and bicycle via the path running all the way to Glasgow and Bullock. Thank you ☺️

Stayed for bed and breakfast. Felt welcomed and family run hotel. Our room was very basic as hotel in midst of refurb. Lovely choice on breakfast menu. They do not serve alcohol so allowed us to open our own bottle of wine no problem !

Ideal stopover hotel or as a base for the area

Used as a stopover to visit relations nearby. Did not take breakfast so got a good room discount. Our room in the annex was well insulated from road traffic noise and being a Saturday night we didn't hear anything from the nearby hotel bar area.
