Guesthouse with good service
The guesthouse is a 5-bedroom apartment on the 5th floor of a 5-storey building. Each room (hosts 2-3 people) has its own bathroom, TV, aircondition, mirror. Very small wardrobe. The rooms are clean, basic toiletries are provided. There is access to the rooftop from the common corridor where you can enjoy the view. Breakfast is served in the common kitchen area and consists of toast, jam, cereal, yoghurt, bananas, apples, juice, coffee/cappuccino and milk. During weekends some pastries. When windows are closed the noise from the trains and trams is almost inaudible. The location is not far from Termini Station but we do not recommend to walk, especially with luggage, as the second half of the way is extremely bumpy. Take the tram or bus instead and get off at Piazza di Porta Maggiore and walk 2 minutes. Roberta, the owner, is very friendly and forthcoming. Her English is very good, and she explains everything in detail. Invoicing was accurate and you can pay with Credit Card. You pay €3.50 p.p.p.d. tourist fee in cash. Her handyman Mario was very friendly and helpful. He prepares breakfast and is available for all "technical" problems there might be.

a very cozy room, value for money
The room was very clean and tidy, we think they just finished renovation, so the walls in the room were white with a feature wall in orange. Washroom equipment were all shiny white. Very good. Breakfast was simple but it was good for us to stat a day. It has a lot of choices, such as cereal with milk, croissant, cupcake, juice, yogurt, etc. If you need toast and cappuccino, Mario will make for you instantly. The cappuccino Mario made was tasteful. We stayed there during Easter and Roberta specially made the spoiled egg and salami and explained to us that it is Italian's traditional food they eat during Easter. We feel it is a bit far from the train station because most of the roads in Rome are pebble stone pathway, especially when you walk with your heavy luggage, it takes a bit longer time to walk to the guest house unless you know how to take the tram. Very unfortunately was that the hot water boiler was out of order on our first day of stay but Roberta tried her best to call the technician to fix it and it was back to normal on the next day. We stayed there for 5 nights and we took a evening flight back home, Roberta was very kind enough to let us left the luggage there so that we can still do the sightseeing on that morning and return to the guest house to pick up our stuff at 2pm. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and thanks Mario and Roberta for your hospitality.

Exceptional 10.0
5 Star stay in Rome
I'm a little late with this review as we stayed in October 2017. We stayed for two nights and I can't stress how wonderful the stay was. Roberta the host sent an email the day before with directions to the hotel. The hotel is in a block of private apartments on the top floor and is well advertised outside. Take the lift to the top floor. It's very quaint. Roberta also will text on the day to ask what time you arrive. We replied straight away and she did too. Check in is at 4pm and any earlier can be arranged for an extra fee. We where met by a gentleman who works for Roberta. He showed us to our beautiful room complete with balcony and wonderful views. Also the wonderful terrace with seating and the kitchen area. Once we were happy he called Roberta and we spoke over the phone to welcome us to her property and was there to answer any questions we had. The next morning we met Roberta over a breakfast that consisted of toast teas coffee eggs yogurts cereals juice. More than enough to start the day. I can't stress how much we fell in love with Roberta as a host as we shared stories of the past involving the property, her stays in Liverpool where we live and the tales of Rome where she hails from. When sadly the last day came to check out we were able to leave our luggage in the property as our flight back to the uk wasn't until 1030pm. Trams and tubes are nearby for all the sights. Thank you Roberta for such a wonderful stay. Hopefully see you very soon again. 5 stars
