Room very clean and the staff are very friendly. Its very close to the dock area. We can walk over and board our cruise. But its a bit noisy as the dogs outside kept barking. And I could hear the morning call from the mosque.

Good Hotel, in a handy location

A nice hotel, with first class staff. When I was booking in I was asked what I had planmed for tomorrow, I said I was getting picked up at 0400 to go to Abu Simbel, and right away I was offered a boxed breakfast, top notch. Good sized room with a usable balcony. Plenty of room in the shower etc. Breakfast was a good selection. I would happily stay here again

Great location, amazing staff

Great location and amazing staff. The hotel has nice if a bit outdated rooms, but nothing to worry about if in look for a budget option - it might be the best budget option in the entire Aswan. Breakfast is good, internet works well. Special thanks to Somaya, who was always helpful and extremely nice to our group.

A decent stay

A good stay for 1 night as we had to leave early for our cruise the next day. The hotel is very close to the Train station.. the room was worn out but is decent enough for 1 or 2 nights as the location is in the proper city centre. The service was very good, the staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast could have been better as were given nothing but a couple of bread with a yogurt and banana.

Can be noisy at night. Hotel is definitely dated. Not great value for the price. Probably better off at a hostel. In a good area though. Convenient to get to the main market/bazaar and the main road that runs along the West Bank. Wifi didn’t work in room.

We stayed at Hapi Hotel for one night and had a pleasant overall experience. We arrived earlier than the standard check-in time, and although it took about 45 minutes before our room was ready, the staff were kind enough to check us in before our scheduled tour to the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. We really appreciated their effort to accommodate us despite the early arrival. Another thoughtful gesture was the boxed breakfast they prepared for us the next morning. We had to leave around 3:50 a.m. for our Abu Simbel tour, and the staff made sure we had something to take with us, which was very helpful. The room was reasonably clean, comfortable for a short stay, and the staff throughout our visit were courteous and friendly. While the hotel is simple and not luxurious, it met our needs for a quick stopover in Aswan before our cruise. Overall, Hapi Hotel provided good service, helpful staff, and a convenient location for sightseeing. We were satisfied with our stay and would consider it a solid option for travelers passing through Aswan.

Location is good on east side of Nile. AC in the room is running cold enough for Aswan hot temperature but remote doesnt work. But the room is lacking amenity supplies no shamphoo, no conditioner, no hair dryer, no free water bottle but hotel does provides breakfast box for early morning trips only by request. No restaurant inside hotel but u can go across the other hotel restaurant for dinner.

First the positives. It was clean and most staff were helpful eg in restaurant. But it was disappointing overall, very dated and basic, my husband went downstairs to reception to ask for coffee for us to make in room he was told by receptionist go out buy coffee. Internet/wifi was not available. We were told it’s due to us having iPhones. That caused issues as we needed to contact our guide on WhatsApp

Bed was clean and but showers flood the bathrooms

I booked two rooms. One had a shower with no screen or curtain and it was practically over the toilet which meant my adult daughter came to shower in my ensuite but the shower curtain was too short and clung to us in the tiny shower and flooded the floor. Staff nice. Breakfast okay. Internet totally useless for all five devices we were carrying. A two-star hotel by international standards.
