This is a pretty no-frills property that is in need of repairs and attention. Convenient location and friendly front desk staff, but the place def. needs some TLC.
Common areas look a bit run down with flickering ugly lights. Our room was much bigger than expected, which was nice. A/C was great. Overhead light bulbs were mixed colors in different parts of the room and in the bathroom which was very off-putting and frankly bizarre.
Bathroom shower stall was VERY small with just a cheap plastic curtain around it. The first night we accidentally flooded the bathroom because the shower head blasted the curtain hard enough to blast water down below the curtain. We aren't the only ones to do this. The stall was so small there was no way to turn and move in the shower without the curtain clinging to our bodies. We are small, slim adults (the tallest is 5'7"). If you're a taller person you'll definitely be feeling scrunched in the shower.
There were small random unpatched holes in parts of the walls. Some patched repairs never repaiinted.
Lot of closet space, but no safe in the room for valuables.
The young lady working front desk/reception was extremely helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. She was extremely accommodating when we needed extra towels, cutlery, etc.
Super convenient to a grocery store and a DIY laundromat around the corner. Quck walk to the RENFE/Rodalies train station, and there's also a convenient bus stop on the corner too.
